Oh, sadly i guess they maybe reluctant because it would be costly and quite hard to do so and track your mobile phone. they like to help you but there are so many factors to consider before they do such task. there is no 100% way, by the way to track your phone. and often stolen phones from a country are shipped away from the country where it is stolen, so that it would be far and almost near to impossible to trace, it would be blacklisted in your country but i suppose and it can still be used in other countries for some time before the local country's network blacklist it too. hope you had been clarified or enlightened. im sorry bout your phone.

Phones are stolen by the 100s every hr and in most places its considered the same as stealing a piece of candy --we cant help either we do not have access to any accounts codes or files to find or trace your phone
