Hello. Actually, the reason your bulb blew was most likely that you jarred it a wee bit while it was very, very hot. Replace the bulb and you should be able to power up again. J.

Yes a burnt out lamp or lamp cover will prevent the projector from powering up. Check to make sure the unit is properly plugged in. Also check to make sure the lamp has not burned out and the lamp cover is properly attached. A burned out lamp or a lamp cover that isn't properly attached will prevent the projector from powering up.

Tips for a great answer:
(1) While the projector running, press the MENU button to open the menu.
(2) Choose "OPTION" , then press ENTER button.
(3) Choose "FILTER TIME", then press and hold the RESET button for 3 seconds.
(4) Choose "RESET" .
