N64 is pretty old so RCA connections is about the best your going to get. Not sure where You could pick this up locally since the one end that plugs into the game system is unique to the Nintendo 64 but this it what it looks like and it will run you like 8 bucks on the Net.

When i turn on my 64inch mitsubishi wd 65733 tv it stays on for about a min (WITH PICTURE AND SOUND)then it just shuts off with the (orange) status light steady and the (green)lamp light blinking. I cant...


My concern is that the new lamp may be having an issue and not able to hold the high voltage.
If the old lamp was working, I would try this old lamp again.
If this issue was with the old lamp also. Then there is something else wrong either in the power supply or the lamp ballast where it isn't able to continue to put out the high voltage.

More than likely a lamp issue!

Hello we have a mitsubishi 64'' projection TV HD1080 its about 7 years old just today while on pause on DVR we came home and something was out of alignment when you look at writing on the menu its doubled...


If it has a different colored "shadow" then it's a convergence issue that's controlled by a 40-60 pin IC chip. This is 90% of the cause of shadowing. It can be done by a DIY'er but it is not easy unless you know how to solder/desolder without burning ring foils off of the chassis.

EITHER you have bad filtor capacitors in 5 & 9 volt circuits or you have bad electrolitic capacitors in vertical circuit. J.D.W.

Tv is shutting down then restarting.


How old is this TV, if its more then 2 years old and have not replaced lamp yet then its problem of weak lamp. Please replace its lamp and always purchase Sony original lamp for smooth TV function.
