Mitsubishi LT-52249 continuous blinking green light wont pwer on/off

These blinks (flashes) are fault indication. By the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside the TV. Count the blinks occur at one time switch ON, carefully. Do it once again, and make sure about the number of blinks. If the flashes are continious, non-stop, the main system control IC should be suspected. If you wish to get more details, check the site linked here. It has blinking codes detail to many brand TVs. Pull up older posts. Check the site in 'Mosaic' view. It will make search easy. Electro help

Green light constantly blinking and tv screen doesnt turn on

Good day!!!

That problem is usually have 2 causes..Its either power supply board or main board..

Please take this steps on how to determine the problem:

  1. Open the back cover.

  2. Check the power supply output...It should have 5vdc for the main board..12vdc or 16vdc for the audio and 24vdc for the back-light inverter..

  3. If those 3 voltage supplies have encountered voltage drop...The problem could be on power supply board..

  4. If the power supply output is normal..The problem could be on the main board...

  5. If the problem is power supply you should check if the capacitors are bulged on the top and try to replaced it..If you can't do that you can purchased new power supply board..

  6. If the problem is on main board there is no D.I.Y repair on that so you need to buy a new main board that fits to your TV..

Hope this solution will be helpful..

Thanks for using fixya...

The picture on my Mitsubishi rear projection big screen has pink and green lines going around all of the images

you will need to ajust the convergence of your tv. there should be a "test" swich/feature that brings up a grid on the screen. ajust the horizontal and vertical of each of the colors until the lines become white. you will need to be more specific on which model you have if you need more detailed instructions. it should cost less than $75 to get a tecnician to come over to fix this.
