This is possible only if the camera have a web-cam mode...or ...anyway try to open the windows movie maker ..and capture from device..open the camera in shooting mode..and try to see if it works ..I know it works with web cameras that why I said to put it in web-cam mode to avoid storing the capture in the camera ..anyway it may store it and stream it to windows movie maker in the same time ...If you do not have any other software use it ..

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

Can I use Telephoto converter on my handycam DCR-dvd108 to shoot picture of object on moon surface? If so, what kind and feature Please?

You can't as the lens is fixed and I wouldn't have thought you needed it. It has 40 optical and 2000x digital. That is better than a home telescope. You just need a good tripod.

Specs

Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens; 40x optical/2000x digital zoom

You may be confused regarding 'conversion lenses' by the text on page 64 of the manual regarding NightShot Mode, but that is infra red shooting and not like a DSLR lens converter?

Hello, i have a DVD-R disc, 30 minutes, 1.4 GB, handycam and we recorded some videos, one month later our recorder havent´t charge, we conected it for being charged, after that we would like to see...

I am so so sorry my friend, but like millions of other people you too have found that DVD disks for recording movies simply do not work.
The disks are 98% un-reliable for movie recordings and this is why people like myself a Pro Movie maker for 30 years keep telling the silly sods who make movie camera WE WANT TAPE cameras back, and the only one which ever worked well was 8mm tape.
I surgest you call those fools on the Sony line and tell them that you like us do NOT trust these Sony disk cams on 01256 828828 UK number.
I will be pleased if you let me know how you get on, because these disks simply are rubbish.

Hi I bought a pro-spec 70-210 lens for my Sony Alpha. When you go to zoom out it doesn't twist. You can pull it straight out...Is this how it should work? The rest of my lenses all twist out

Yes. It's a push pull zoom action.

One touch zooms as used on 35mm film SLRs used to have the same mechanism, the zoom ring twisted as well to achieve focus but now that most lenses are autofocus that's unnecessary. So you have a lens which just retains the push-pull, a far more natural action in my opinion and usually faster than a rotating zoom. Once you get used to it I think that you'll prefer it.

By contrast, most modern zooms have what was considered in 35mm terms to be an old-fashioned twin touch zoom: one ring was turned to zoom the lens and another was turned to focus it. This sometimes meant that after zooming you had to refocus; your push pull zoom will likely have a more technically demanding constant focus zoom action, there will be an additional manual focus control as well, but it's very much a minor secondary control used only when your AF has broken or is switched off.

I hope that my reply has been of use to you, please return the favour by rating my answer.

No Internet via zoom X6 wireless router to desk top, lap top ok.

Access your zoom router by using the laptop which still has access to the router.

Your going to have to open your Wireless Network Connection Status window located under your network settings.

If you see this window your going to left click the (details) button

Now you should see a IP DNS server address
for example: 192.168.1.xxx

Type that address onto the address bar of your web browser.

it should take you to your router setup page.

There you will need to check if the lan port is enabled

Changing the Zoom while recording

You can zoom while filming; but I haven't experimented with the lens setting (landscape, portrait, macro) and the zoom to see the effect.

T7 video

Hello The zoom does not work on the T7 while you video, you have to zoom first and then start to video, then it is fixed at that zoom setting. Other than that, the video is pretty good, I have taken video clips up to about 5mins (but in theory you can go up to the limit of the mem card and battery - battery from full is about 40 mins from the top of my head and my 512mb mem card could do about 30 mins on best quality) The sound is good, and the picture is pretty good, but obviously there is no 'flash' function, so you are looking at daytime or well lit video only. One thing is that you do need a steady hand, because the unit is so small (a great benefit most of the time) you do get a fair amount of camera shake if you do not have a very steady hand... usually the morning after the night before for me! :o) I have been pretty happy with it a a fun video accessory, but if you want the camera for that as a main use, I would look around.
