Hello lblb45. Under control panel - printers and faxes - doble click on your HP printer and you will see the status of the printer (either printer offline, out of ink, or out of paper, etc. Click on printer option on the top and unselect the "Use Printer Offline" option. That usually happens because the print spooler service looses connection to the printer at some point. Did you try with another USB cable or reinstall the drivers? I hope this helps.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Printer does not print

The following hints might help:
1. It is better to reinstall the driver (from hp site)
2. Do not on the printer until the usb cable is plug to computer
3. If it happens offen, you need to off the printer using printer switch and not from power source. You may have a habit of unplugging the usb cable without off the printer swich.. this will later lead to switch chip damage.

Hello,

This is Romeet, id like to try and help. Assuming you have windows XP installed,

go to "Start", select " Printers and Faxes"

go to your printer ( HP deskjet 3745 ) and right click it and select properties.

Click on " Print Test Page ", tell me what color does the Printout come in.
