Question about Seagate FreeAgent Pro - 500GB, 7200 RPM, USB 2.0, eSATA, External 500 GB Hard Drive
The drive was working normal before but I move around alot with it always in my bag, and two days ago it could not be recognised by the pc. Someone told me it may have been hit.
When you plug it in, it lights up and you hear a clicking and whirring sound which stops after about 10 seconds.
What should i do? I just need it read coz i actually wanted to format it.
Formatt it, it the only way the needle on the scratched disk will continue to skip and get worse
