Question about Panasonic NN-S753 Microwave Oven

1 Answer

Panasonic Oven repair

I have a Panasonic microwave NN-S753BF that gives an error code of 53:30 in the display. I bought the schematics but have no guide to identify the problem. I service line-of-site telecommunications equipment so I have some knowledge of what to look for but need some guidance. The unit will allow any programing info but will run aprox 30 sec with no magnetron engagement. Please help. Thank you for your time. Sincere regards, Mary Kellogg

The oven is Normaly service by board and parts swapping. The processor board would be difficult to service without proper diagnostics. If you take in consideration of the time and the extent of the diagnostics to analyse the fault, it would not be cost effective.

The most common causes of failure is the power supplies, and safety switches. Follow the information in the service manual to take voltage reading and test the switches.

If you have to work in the high voltage section, take great precaution. This is very dangerous to work on. You will need the proper high voltage test meter probe to check for proper high voltage operation. The service people swap out parts to test. This is the fastest, safest, and easiest way to service these.

Normally, outside of warranty we found these not worth to service unless the fault was very simple.

Can I replace the lamp in a panosonic microwave oven model NN CT 857

Hi.

The lamp replacement requires complete removal of the oven external casing. The oven must be tested for radiation leakage after the repair. The replacement must be done by a trained technician. Disassembling procedure is illustrated on the service manual available here: Panasonic Service/repair manuals, schematics.

Panasonic microwave S333 just stopped suddenly. I see on the internet that this has happened to others after about 2 yrs use. Any solution suggestion is appreciated.

Did it show an error code in the display?
If it showed H-98 or similar the magnetron has failed.
It is not a customer repairable item. Take it or have an Authorised Panasonic service centre look at it.

Panasonic NN-S740BA Microwave oven

In all likelihood the mangnetron is failed or failing, or perhaps even the Power Supply is faulty. You need to have it serviced by a reputable service centre/man.
Ensure you get a firm "Quote" before proceeding, and remember these days the cost of repair can equal or exceed the price of a new one

Panasonic genious sensor inverter 1300w nn-t664sfx displays code "h98" & will not run - what's the problem?

Mine did this once and it was the magnetron. Once replaced, it worked fine. Repair is an option if it is still under warranty or someone will do it on the cheap. Otherwise, just get a new microwave, since this is the main part.
