Hi hust a tip hope it would work, try to adjust the aspect ratio, if not check if ther is a zoom button on the remote that can actually adjust the size of the picture but normally adjusting the aspect ratio will solve the problem. hope this would work, goodluck!!!

There is no zoom or aspect ratio on my Panasonic Vierra remote and the picture is too large for the screen. How can I fix this problem

Try exploring the picture set up menus on the device that is supplying the picture, it may be a cable box or DVD player or other. Change it to 16:9 ratio on that device. Does the problem exist for all types of devices supplying pictures to your TV or just one?

Hi - we have problem with Viera tv. no sound or pic. switch on green light briefly. then straight to red light flashes 4 times then 3 sec interval then repeat. tv is just over 13 months old. any ideas.?...

Instructions Things You'll Need:
  • Damp Cloth
  • Fuse
  • TV Remote Control
  1. Ensure the power cable is securely fitted to a wall output if you can't get your Panasonic LCD TV to power up. Try testing the wall outlet with another appliance to make sure there is not electrical fault with the outlet itself. If there is still no power, a blown fuse may need replacing.

  2. Switch off the color correction option if you are using HDMI cables and the displayed image has unnatural colors. For instance, if a picture area that should be red is blue or green, then the color correction option may be the issue. Press OK on your remote control. Now access the Other Adjust option and scroll down to the Color Correction option. You can now turn the setting off, which should restore normal image quality.

  3. Press the Mute button if you can't get your Panasonic LCD television to produce sound. This may have been pressed in error, cutting off the sound. Check the volume settings on any other devices, such as a games console or DVD player, that are connected to your LCD TV. If the volume is set to low on such a device, it can limit the sound output on your TV.

  4. Check that the air vents at the lower rear of your Panasonic LCD TV are free of dirt and debris. Dirt can accumulate in these areas, causing the cooling function to under-perform. Panasonic LCD sets come with built-in safety features that shut off the power if your set becomes too hot. Clean the air vents with a damp, rather than wet cloth. Dust and vacuum the room regularly to prevent the problem from recurring.

The picture is too large, almost as if it is on zoom, so the edges of the picture are cut off. How do I fix it?

check and see if you have a zoom button on the TV remote
If your hooked to a cable box call the provider because some of the cable boxes have a setting that will cause this issue

The Picture appears to be zoomed in. Cannot figure out how to adjust picture to fit the television

There should be a zoom feature on your remote press that and it will take you to diffrent modes otherwise its got to be in the menu settings of the tv itself.

Thanks

Panasonic viera doesn't display computer correctly

I have had what is fundamentally the same problem. I have a desktop PC that I am plugging in to my Panasonic Viera TX-32LZD80. I am using DVI connection plugged in to HDMI port.

The solution is fairly simple; use the Menu button on the TV remote to get to the Main Menu for the TV and then select Setup which should be the fourth of four options. This will get you to the Setup Menu for the TV for the current channel. Look for the Picture Overscan option, it will very probably be set to On if you have the problem of %5 or so of display being missing on all sides.

Switch Picture Overscan to Off.

This immediately should solve your problem. A note of warning on this is that I suspected this was the problem but when I first looked at the Setup Menu I could not find the Picture Overscan option.

If you are unable to find the Picture Overscan option then trying fiddling with the Aspect settings. You will probably find it set to Auto. Switch it to 16:9 and you should find the Picture Overscan option will be available from the Setup Menu.

Hope it works for you.

Frame width is normal means. Check aspect ratio is changed in menu options. Even width is also enlargement means there is high output from power supply section. Check and change the high voltage filter capacitor.
