Question about Capcom Resident Evil 5 for Xbox 360

Add-On Content Code Invalid

I recently purchased Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition (new) for Xbox 360. When I got home and attempted to access my free downloadable content, the prompt "Invalid Code" continued to be displayed. I carefully entered the code in the Marketplace, Redeem Code section multiple times, and I have an active Gold Membership on Xbox Live. The code on the included insert is below as follows:

I bought the game new, so I am confused as to why the code is considered invalid. Any suggestions or help would be graciously appreciated. Thanks!

Are you SURE you bought the game new. If your positive, then you need to contact customer support for microsoft and ask them about it and why it's not working.

One more thing, you should never post a code like that on an open forum setup like this. You never know if you might have done something wrong, and now you've posted your code for someone else to steal. Don't wanna do that my friend ;)

Resident Evil Revelations Going to Xbox, PS3, Wii U, PC

Today Capcom confirmed that Resident Evil Revelations is due Xbox 360 and PS3 as rumored. However, those aren't the only platforms which will obtain the survival horror game. Capcom is also porting the sport towards the Wii U and PC.

The Xbox 360 elite and PS3 versions aren't a huge shock. They were outed by way of ratings board and Achievements list. However, this can be the very first time we've heard anything about Wii U or PC editions in the game. Glad how the world still has some surprises in it.

Revelations was initially released in January 2012 to the 3DS. The game's campaign was held between Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5. The junior Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance has to combat a FTO called Il Veltro that is certainly threatening to unleash bio-organic weapons across the world. Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield and their respective partners will battle their way by having a cruise liner and city filled with mutants.

The console and PC editions with the game will obviously look superior to their 3DS predecessor. Capcom is promising HD graphics and improved lighting. You will observe these functions for you inside the new screenshots below. The visual upgrades is going to be accompanied by remastered sound. Gameplay improvements add a new difficulty mode and a "terrifying new enemy."

The only-player/co-op Raid Mode on the 3DS version will likely be returning also, albeit with some improvements. Players will complete standalone mission to earn XP and upgrades. The updated Raid Mode brings new weapons and skillsets, and lets players assume the role of Hunk along with series veterans.

Resident Evil Revelations will launch on consoles and PC on May 21st in North America. The European launch will track on May 24th. Starting on January 24th, you'll be able to pre-register at to obtain access to Revelations-themed content. Capcom will release new content with the game by using their site following your game's launch.

I got all add on's for resident evil 5 and i wantd to play the mercenaries reunion and it says i have to clean the disc and restart the console want shold i do

I would delete the DLC and re-download it. From there I would also suggest actually cleaning your disc as well just in case. I don't know if this game is one of the ones doing this, but some companies have started putting some of the DLC actually on the disc and what you are purchasing just unlocks that content. So it really could just be a smudge or scratch on the disc preventing you from playing.

I downloaded resident evil 5 for xbox 360 trough xbox live but i cant play it with my other accounts

That is correct, what you download on one Xbox live account is only available on that live account. You cannot swap downloaded content between accounts. That is the whole point of them to stop people game sharing across different accounts.

Sorry but that's just how Microsoft want it.

360 cannot read Resident Evil 5 games...two different ones!

It's more than likely the DVD drive. Try a different game or 2 to be certain. If you are still getting that issue try running a CD based cleaner a few times. If that doesn't solve your issues contact Microsoft as a recently purchased console should be fully under warranty.

Resident Evil 5 for XBox 360 NOT WORKING!!!

Good afternoon!

With most mass production games, there is always a chance you will have a defective game. I would take it back to the store, explain the problem, and exchange it for a new one.

BTW: Game is pretty good.

Hope this helps!
