Question about Linksys WRT160N Wireless Router
There is a way to reset the modem but you will lose your configuration and you would have to start all over again.
on the back of the modem where you connect the cables there is a tiny hole it may say reset. with the modem on, go ahead and stick a pen, toothpick or something of that nature in to the reset hole and hold it for about 10 seconds, you would see the lights go out and come back on. at point go ahead and release the tiny button and wait for modem to come back on. then you can go ahead and reconfigure it, you have to enable the wireless feature, enable your password (both set up and wireless), rename your network, etc. DO NOT keep the default settings and try to use WPA instead of WEP is harder to crack. for you to do all of this you have to connect your computer to the modem with a cable and type the address to access it open internet explorer and type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar. it should take you to the configuration page.
if it works for you, don't forget to rate me

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Easiest thing to do is reset the router to factory defaults and then reconfigure it. There should be a recessed button on the back of the router, press it in with a paperclip or something and hold down for about 20 seconds. If it was a wep key, there are utils like wepcrack that can try and scan your wireless net and crack the key for you but really, that would be more work than just resetting and reconfiguring the device.
