Question about Logitech X-530 Computer Speakers
I changed desks, so had to remove speakers temporarily (few hours). I have done this multiple times, no problems. This time, when I turned the computer back on, the speakers no longer work. I installed the wires correctly. The "Green" light is on - even checked my computer system to make sure the audio was working - it thinks it is. I've turned the computer on and off. Emailed SONY for my VAIO to get help - ran through all their instructions - still not sound =(
Check the easy stuff first: make sure the volume is at a reasonable level and play sounds from multiple sources like pandora, youtube, a local mp3 etc to make sure issue is consistent.
Next make sure the one or more wires are plugged into the correct ports. Or at the very least the green wire is plugged into the green plug on the computer (unless they're USB speakers?).
You could always look at the sound settings of Windows and see (if your sound card has multiple plugs) if the plugs and assigned different functions (base speaker versus microphone/headphone etc.). Hope this helps!
