Question about Health & Beauty
Hi. This has got to be a faulty motor. The brushes either wear down and jam, or if the caps that hold them in place are not tight enough, the brushes arc on to the sides of the brush holders and jam.
Disconnect the motor connector and by using a multi-meter, see if there is a circuit through the motor. Be careful screwing in the brush caps, as they are prone to cracking.
If the brushes need replacing, its probably a good idea to have a serviceman overhaul the motor and fit new bearings as well.
In some cases, this fault, can also be caused by a faulty motor connector.
Good luck. Neil.
