Question about Dryers
Clean out the exhaust vent tubing really good.. A moister sensor will detect any build up of lint and shut the heat off

Typically, this is a symptom of a lint clogged vent or restricted air flow through an expandable, plastic or foil vent tube behind the dryer that is squished. First check your lint filter and clean it. With the filter removed, check the filter reservoir and see if there is a lot of lint that needs to be cleaned out. If not, then you will more than likely need to pull the dryer out to check the vent for blockage. Unplug the dryer and remove the vent from the back of the dryer. Using a flashlight, clean out or vacuum out the excess lint. Do the same for the vent tube you disconnected. Also check outside at the vent cap to make sure it is not blocked there and that good air flow allows the vent flap to open when the dryer is running. You can check this after you reassemble the vent inside and fire it off. Hope this helps solve your problem. Douglas

Hello & Welcome to FixYa
If you have already tried cleaning the vent then the problem is with the Thermal fuse. When the thermal fuse goes bad it cannot be reset and replacing it is recommended repair. It is located on the blower wheel housing inside the rear panel to the exhaust duct. You can test it for continuity before replacing. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.
