You may need more Memory in your computer. Many computers that you purchase only have the bare minimum amount of Memory to run the Operating System only. When people start downloading Itunes and have videos and pictures in their files it is alot for a computer to process and it will slow your computer down. it may be time to install more Memory in your system, You can click on the link to learn more.

How to Prevent my Computer from Freezing?

Freezing can have several causes.
A program calls the cpu in a wrong way, or the cpu is overheating, and more possibilities.
1. Overheating: after a certain time of operation it just freezes. Try cleaning the inside of the computer. Be careful for static electricity, which might kill your CPU.
Look at some instruction videos at Youtube.

2. Does it always happen when you start a certain program ?
Then the best thing to do is to install Process explorer and investigate what was happening just before it freezes:
Try this:

Good luck investigating,

Why does my computer freeze up

There are a couple of reasons for computer freeze-ups and things to do to fix it. First, make sure your antivirus software is up to date and you have the latest definitions. Run a full scan. If your antivirus software (like Norton or McAfee) has a registry cleaner run that too. Your OS registry gets a lot of stuff in there that can cause the computer to run slow (or freeze). Next restart your computer. Computers deteriorate over time so you need to do a reboot to get them back from time to time. Next do a disk defrag (its an app under Windows accessories). The is the least important thing since Windows 7 and higher do a good job of file management on the drive but its always on my "to do" in these cases. Finally, go to your Control Panel to locate the software installed. I'd be willing to bet you have some malware in there. Uninstall applications that you are certain may be causing problems. But be careful not to delete files you think maybe need. If in doubt - don't delete them. But you'll get a sense of what looks like trouble. For course, after you are done, restart your system again (this helps remove any lingering elements after you delete the suspect applications.) Do these things and I'm certain you will see a big improvement. Finally, if your hard drive is getting full (75% or more) you will find your system gets wonky. Try deleting files (pictures, songs and other media - they suck up a lot of space). Just move them to a free cloud drive (see Google, Microsoft, Box, Dropbox). That should do it! Go get 'em!

I forgot my deepfreeze and i need to delete it tho it can't be deleted without unfreezing my pc i tried antideepfreeze and it failed for me ....what can i do ?

There's no possible way to recover a lost/forgotten Deep Freeze password. But there are several ways to possibly disable/uninstall DeepFreeze.

Enterprise Version :
Deep Freeze Enterprise users can generate One Time Passwords (OTP) to gain access to deepfreeze. To generate an OTP,
  1. Open the Deep Freeze login dialog on the system for which you need to generate the One Time Password.
  2. Write down the Token code. It is located at the top of the login dialog.
  3. Open the Deep Freeze Configuration Administrator and click the One-Time Passwords tab or open the Enterprise Console and click on Tools > One Time Password.
  4. Enter the code you recorded into the Token field and click Generate OTP. Another code will appear in the OTP field. The second code is the password for the workstation.

The newly generated One-Time Password can then be used to disable, uninstall, and re-install Deep Freeze with the correct password.

For Deep Freeze evaluations (with no License Key entered) :

  1. Restart the computer.
  2. Enter the system BIOS settings.
  3. Advance the clock by at least 60 days and then restart your computer. This will disable the software.
  4. After the system has started, run the Deep Freeze installation program to uninstall Deep Freeze.
  5. After the computer reboots, re-enter the BIOS and reset the clock to the current date. You can then re-install Deep Freeze after restarting.
If you are running a licensed copy of Deep Freeze Standard submit a ticket and we can look into the issue further to see if there are any other options avalalbe to assist you.

Gateway laptop 450ROG freezes up after it gets hot & screen frzs

This definitely sounds like a heat problem. The system fan should cool it, but there may be a lot of dirt in the heat sink or along the path that the fan blows air. The first thing I would try is to get a can of canned air and blow it into all the vents under and on the side of the computer. If it is dusty, keep your face away.

You didn't say, but if you let the system cool down for a while (maybe 15 minutes or so) and start it up again and the same thing happens, it['s definitely a heat issue.

Webcam freeze, bad cam or what?

It is not the web cam or the computer why it freezes. It is the internet connection using in the philippines. the upload stream is too slow thats it lags the image. It could also be caused by the computer memory. But most of the time it is the connection. Be sure that when he/ she is using the webcam, shes not doing other things on the internet like downloading or browsing.
