Your tv is working but your antenna or recieving device is not sending a strong signal to your set, try using a hd antenna or a dvd device maybe a cable reciever or similar, to see if your able to see a picture but usually its a signal problem not something wrong with your set.. hope this helps

How do I get out of no input signal

Hello
The video signal is not getting into your display.
Check the connections on both sides of your cable (display side and display card side). If that didn't help, switch off your PC, make sure youre display card is in its correct place (try taking it out and putting it back again). Switch on your PC and check again. If the problem continues, try replacing your display card.

Hi. Check the cables if it is firmly connected to the video ports. If nothing happens, try removing and reinstalling the video card then reconnect the cables. It works wonders!!!

Screen only displays a message that says, "no sync detected". This message is also displayed upside down. If I hit the 'menu' button on the remote, the menu is displayed on the screen upside down also.

When i press the power button to turn off monitor, i get a power button lockout message. how do i unlock the power button

I did not see anything regarding to the Power locked out function, may be it's time to call HP. Please post back what you find out from HP.
I look at HP WEBSITE: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01632269&tmp_track_link=ot_recdoc/c01643091/en_us/c01632269/loc:1&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=3770762

Locking OSD settings
When the OSD is locked, settings cannot be changed in the OSD menu. The OSD functionality is enabled or disabled by pressing the Menu button and holding it for 10 seconds. Upon disabling the OSD, an OSD Lock-out message is displayed for 10 seconds. When the OSD is locked and an OSD menu button is pressed, the OSD Lock-out message is displayed for an additional 10 seconds. When the OSD is locked, pressing the OSD menu button for 10 seconds unlocks the OSD and displays the main menu. Identifying monitor conditions
Special messages display on the monitor screen for the following monitor conditions:
  • Input Signal Out of Range : Indicates the monitor does not support the input signal because the resolution and/or refresh rate are set higher than the monitor supports. Recommended refresh rates are as follows:
    • For the w1858 monitor: 1366 x 768 @ 60 Hz.
    • For the w2338h monitor: 1920 x 1080 @ 60 Hz.
  • Monitor Going to Sleep : Indicates the screen display is entering a sleep mode.
  • Check Video Cable : Indicates a video input cable is not properly connected to the computer or monitor.
  • OSD Lock-out : When the OSD is locked, the warning message OSD Lock displays for 10 seconds.
  • No Input Signal : Indicates the monitor is not receiving a video signal from the computer on the monitor video input connector. Check whether the computer or input signal source is off or in the power-save mode.
  • Auto Adjustment in Progress : Indicates the auto-adjustment function is active and in process.
