Putting the hard drive in the freezer is an urban legend for reviving broken hard drives....in most cases it has only worked if the problem was a bad bearing on the drive hub. Freezing it would allow it to turn easy but only for a very short time, maybe enough time to retieve a few files if you were lucky. It does nothing for read/write head problems or bad sectors or corrupt files.

ICE BUILDS UP IN LIEBHERR FREEZER

Needs a new defrost timer. If ice builds up then you are not defrosting. If you are not defrosting then the t-stat will read the ice and think it is down to temp and shut off.

The freezeer door handle on a Gx5fhtxvado came loose . How do i remove it and tighten it and put it back on?

grab the handle and lift. it will slide up and then you can pull it off od mounting screws. then tighten the screws on the door and reinstall. don't be afraid to put a bit of muscle behind the lifting aspect.

Head is stuck or i think it is dead

You may be able to get the data off of it. You'll need another computer with an IDE port and a hard disk big enough to take any data that you may be able to recover off of your old drive -- hook your dead hard disk up to it as slave ( you can see how to configure your drive as slave here )
Put the old disk in the freezer overnight and then put an ice pack on it (put a towel in between so it doesn't condensate and get the hard disk wet) to keep it cool while you try to get the data off of it.
Be sure NOT to touch the circuit board that is on the bottom of the old hard disk to anything metal or you might short it out. If the computer recognizes the old hard disk; you're in luck, copy the data off to the new computer's internal hard disk as fast as you can; your old drive may die completely at any time.

My GE Side by side is not cooling. I believe it is the defrost heater, how do you replace this?

The defrost thermostat is located behind the freezeer firewall, on top of the evaporator.

It is part 240 on the diagram below:
