Question about Dishwashers
my dishwasher Siemens Pianissimo Ref E-NR SE29290FF/12 FD 7810 930012 , show an error code F when I try to start it.
Could you tell me what is the significance of this error please ?
SOURCE: error code 30
i fixed the problem by tipping the machine over slightly, as suggested by other members, about a pint of water came out the bottom and it now seems to work perfectly.

I'm sure you disrupted the sequencing! If its full of water, drain it. If its got no water in it, then manually fill it! This should get you back into sequence and up and running.

The E8 fault is generated when the internal switch on the alternating valve fails to register that the diverter valve has switched over. It may be that the disc inside your valve isn't moving completetly over or the switch isn't working. The feedback from this device is to the main pcb, therefore there are only three parts involved, the pcb, the diverter valve and the wiring. It is possible to test the valve using a multimeter to confirm it is indeed switching properly.
I don't have a part number unfortunately but if you go to www.smeg-service.co.uk you'll be able to get the part number and price of the part.
Good luck with your repair.
