Question about Kenmore 20.3 cu. ft. / 575 liter Upright Freezer 23024
I just bought a second hand upright freezer. The only information I have is that it is a kenmore(says on the door handle), the kind that the coils are inside as the shelves. What I need to know is 1)where do I find the product number so I can try to buy a key for it, also 2)I would like to know what exactly the temperature alarm is and 3)why when the freezer is set to 1(which I assume is the lowest setting) everything inside is still all frosty and while putting away groceries it melts all over the place! Thanks if anyone can help! There was no paper work with this freezer so I cannot even tell you how big it is or anything.
1)forget about the key you'll be disposing of this unit anyway
2)the alarm is to tell you that the unit is above ideal temp.
3)the unit isn't making temp due to refrigeration issue. if it isn't cold enough on 3 then 1 won't do it either.
