When are you getting this message , like does it come on startup or shutdown, or is this file detected when you ran an anti virus scan on the system

    Thanks

It is not a good thing to "get rid of " corrupt files, you need to fix it and get rid of the message! : )

Not knowing what the file does, Av suggests something with Audio or Audio Visual. Have you checked Device Manager to see if any hardware is showing a problem with drivers etc? If there is a problem with drivers or hardware you can try reinstalling first the drivers and then the software that came with the unit. To access Device Manager RIGHT click My Computer and select Properties then click on Device Manager. Problems show up as a yellow exclamation mark. RIGHT click any with the Yellow Exclamation mark and see if the problem is shown (you can select Update Driver here as well.

If this doesn't work, another try would be to download Norton Systemworks from the Symantec site, Located here:

http://shop.symantecstore.com/servlet/ControllerServlet?Action=DisplayPage&Env=BASE&Locale=en_US&SiteID=symnahho&id=ProductDetailsTrialPage&productID=51012100

Install it and run Utilities - Find and Fix Problems - WinDoctor.

This will find all your broken links, missing shortcuts, registry errors etc and may fix your problem. It's kinda like tuning and servicing your car, all the bits work smoothly together again.

Note all Operating Systems gradually create broken links to files that are required by programs (a single program may be made up of hundreds of individual files - each one accessed through a link).

Just uninstall NortonSystemworks after you have finished with it (it will only work for 14 days anyway without a key).

Good luck.

Why fire fox can't find server

First of all, have you tried to connect to the Internet using Internet Explorer? If you can, then it is most likely that one of Firefox's file has become corrupt. In order to do this properly (best - and presuming you can get online), download Revo Uninstaller Free. Once you have downloaded it and installed it, start it up. You will get a display of many of the programs that you have on your computer. There will also be some that will appear to be duplicates. They start with the name, Microsoft Visual C++ - DO NOT UNINSTALL ANY OF THESE. Look for Firefox and click on it's icon once. Now look at the top row and find Uninstall (not Uninstaller), it should be the 6th icon from the left. Click on it and you will get a dialogue box asking if you really want to uninstall Firefox. Click on Yes and another dialogue box will open. This one asks which "Mode" you want to use. Click on the radio button/dot on the bottom that says Advanced. This will get rid of ALL traces of Firefox. There will be some further action you may have to take when Revo asks if you want to uninstall other values/files. With the ones on the first list, click ONLY on the boxes next to an name that stands out in BOLD letters. NO DOING THIS COULD POSSIBLY RENDER YOUR COMPUTER NON-FUNCTIONAL!
Follow the prompts and you will get rid of Firefox traces and be able to install a new version with no corrupt files.

Windows 7 Keygen won't execute and causes a APPCRASH

Delete any new programs that you have downloaded.

Often, the cause of corruption in a computer system is a bad download that installs harmful files.

If you started to get the Appcrash error on your system after downloading a new program or software from the Internet, it's highly likely you have downloaded a bad product.

Use the "Add/Remove Programs" feature in the Control Panel to get rid of the program immediately.

Uninstall the program that is crashing.

It is possible to fix the program's corrupted files while the program is still installed, but to make sure that you clear the program files completely, it is safest to completely uninstall it from the system.

Run a full scan of your computer.

Your computer should already have antivirus software installed that can scan for corrupted files and either fix them or delete them from your system.

If you do not have antivirus software on your computer, that could be a big part of the problem.

Purchase and install antivirus software as soon as possible.

Once you have the antivirus program installed, open it and click "Scan Computer."

The antivirus scan will isolate bad files and you will be given the option to remove them from your system.

Reinstall the program that was crashing.

Now that the corrupted files have all been removed, your program should run smoothly after reinstallation.

Check for program incompatibility.

If, after a thorough scan and cleaning of your computer and reinstallation of your program, the

Appcrash errors continue, the program you are trying to use may not be compatible with your operating system or other programs on your computer

rather than purchasing an antivirus program use one of these freeware programs

Restore Windows XP to an earlier date. Firewall corrupted due to somebody's intrusive software

YOu need to run Stringer to get rid of any viruses and other stuff---I don't know if this is what you mean by intrusive software.. Make sure to follow all of the directions. I ususally download the file which is very small and then disable my restorepoint. Just make sure to enable the restore point after you run Stringer. I run once a week to catch any mutated viruses.

You may need to have your Hard Disk wiped and Windows re-installed. It sounds to me like one or more of the Operating Systems file's has become corrupted.
