It is a threaded cutting blade. So the screw is the reverse thread from the way that the cutters turn. You are going to have to keep the s/s from spinning and unscrew the other way. Just be careful as those blades are very shape but also very fragile. So you want to make sure that when you are holding the s/s blades from spinning you are not doing metal on metal contact. I recommend a piece of wood with a town wrapped around it.

Is your unit still under Warranty? If so, your warranty will be void if you do any kind of maintanence before contacting the Customer Service Department first. What area do you live in?

    Dear lucky4lyn,

My coffee grinder is out of warranty ,but has hardly been used! There is no smell of burning and I would like to remove the motor from the body, which requires the removal of the s/s grinding blade. Is there a thermal o/load unit incorporated or some easily reset switch? I don't know which way to turn the blades to disconnect from the motor shaft....is it a push fit or threaded? Hope you can advise!

Lost directions - how to descale keurig ?

Hello, Here is a tip i wrote, see if this helps you.

Have you ever wondered, 'how do I descale my expresso machine?' First lets us understand what is exactly is scaling. The build up of minerals inside the hot parts of your coffee machine or espresso machine is commonly called lime scale. When lime scale builds up inside the Espresso machine, it slows down the water flow, reduces the boiler capacity and can prevent your coffee machine from working properly. To keep your Espresso machine operational at full order, it is important to descale it every three months. The time intervals between descaling depend upon many factors. Quality of your water and the amount of water running through the machine are the two main factors that decide the frequency at which you should descale your Espresso machine. The more you your machine, more often should you descale it. In some cities, in conjunction with a water filter you can use your coffee machine for a year or more without descaling at all. If you use less water by drinking espressos you'll need to descale less often than if you make cappuccinos.

Descaling products are widely available from stores that sell coffeemakers and espresso machines. Be sure that the product you buy to descale your Espresso machine is intended for this specific use only. Before you descale your Espresso machine, always unplug it and make sure that it is cold. Also, never immerse the appliance in water and nor should you use abrasive cleaning products or scouring materials on any part of your Expresso machine. In case your Espresso machine does not come with a instruction guide or booklet, then use a proper citric acid based descaling solution designed for espresso machines. This should be mixed and prepared as per the instructions on the bottle or packet. Once your Espresso machine has been descaled properly you would not be left wondering, 'how do I descale my expresso machine?', treat yourself to a great cup of coffee. Some popular models of Espresso machines are Krups EA8080 Espresseria Automatic, DeLonghi Magnifica EAM3200S, Krups Nespresso CitiZ & Milk XN 7106 Fire-engine red, DeLonghi Perfecta ESAM5400, DeLonghi PrimaDonna ESAM6600, DeLonghi Magnifica ESAM4200S, DeLonghi Perfecta ESAM5500 and Magimix Nespresso Citiz M190.

I have a DeLonghi EAM3200 series expresso machine and I need the instructions for the decalcifying process.

Typically the process is to simply run a vinegar and water solution through without coffee grounds. Usually a 2 parts vinegar to 1 part water solution will do it. Next, run clean water through 2 or 3 times to rinse out the vinegar. Be sure to let the machine cool between boilings.

I need the DeLonghi Caffee Figaro manuel. Please let me know how I could get it.

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly. DeLonghi provides manuals for all of their products on line. Their global website is http://www.delonghi.com after clicking the region that you live in search for user guide. You must have a model number vs a name of your coffee maker (example) BCO110 to download your manual. The model number should be on the bottom of the coffee maker.
This was my best guess for your model since you did not provide one:
http://web1.dlservice.org/dlservice/dataload/istruzio/GB-573674.pdf

You can use this page to search for a manual by model number or product code:

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

Need owners manual for DeLonghi DCF212T Have a display model without a manual

This question was posted under the "Microwave Ovens" category. However, the DeLonghi Model Number you provided cross references to a COFFEE MAKER. If this is what you are looking for, here's a link to managemylife.com website:

You can download, or print a copy of the manual for FREE.

If this is not what you are looking for, could you please verify your MODEL NUMBER to ensure it is correct? Please post back and let me know, if you need further assistance.

It seems withthis model you have a 1 year or 4000 cups warranty with this.
If you are within this, then give them a call - here is the Manual if you don't have it -
MANUAL -

I suggest you start by removing the beans in the hopper and wiping around to remove oils.
Then refill with fresh dry beans.
Plug in and set up as normal
Set to brew a standard large cup - and adjust grinder to coarse setting while grinding.
Do not adjust with grinder quiet - it must be done while rotating.

Make at least 10 cups this way at the coarse setting.

I think what has happened is that damp beans (frozen or cold) have entered the unit and caused the coffee to gum up at the top of the burr.
This will just push fresh beans out of the way instead of starting to grind them.

If you use dry (light loast) beans, it doesn't seem to happen as much.

Just ake sure you refrigerate most of your stocks, but keep a small stock at room temperature in an airtight tin to prevent this kind of thing.

You can actually push down on the bean stack slightly with a wooden object while the grinder is running if nothing moves on the coarse setting to get things moving.

I have a Delongi Microwave combi and need to locate the lamp, the model is AC930AMQ, so far I cannot see the lamp anywhere and need to replace it. If it is internal I have no prblem with that as I am an...

I removed the outer case by three posidrive screws and two security screws. The lamp is located in a downward position on the left hand side looking from the back. A normal 25watt 300c ses bulb is suitable so no need to buy original if you don't want to. Take care before removing cover by unplugging the unit and only work on the lamp area as there is high voltage present charged in the capacitors !
