This lesson cost me $104.  Error code 4 could be the most common and easily fixed problem is a small item in the pump blades.  The round cover on the bottom front covers a hand removable valve that gives you access to the pump.  The item, ours was a panty liner, once removed will allow you to reset the machine.  Any water in the machine will come our quickly once you open the valve.

Error code F-04 and F-05
Check the the connection of the drainage hose to your sink wastage, as it may be blocked and the drainage of water impeded
Hope it helps, this info is applicable to W840/W860 Hotpoint Machines

Hotpoint ultima tcud97b6km it switches on and starts a program until the cycle/drum changes anticlockwise then it flashes up fault code f04 with all lights flashing and can only turn off at the mains

Hotpoint aqualtis error code F04
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Indesit (Hotpoint Aqualtis, Ariston) 'F04' states 'pressure switch jammed empty, check pressure switch, wiring and module connections'.
It is not that unusual to find it cured by having the connections gently pulled apart and replaced, thus 'cleaning' the contacts back to correct operation ;-0)

My Hotpoint Ultima WMD 960 displays "F04" on the display panel before the programme ends. Have cleaned the filter and it worked OK in spin mode and finished normally but now have put in a washing load, it...
Error code F04 means pressure switch jammed on empty.
Do the following.
Remove lower rear panel of washer.
Remove large black hose on bottom of drum.
Remove and clean filter inside the hose.
Remove the hose on to the pump, and check for blockage or obstruction here as well.

Hotpoint Ultima Super Silent WF865. I'm getting error code F04 there's water in the machine and it's stopped.
Error code F04 indicates pressure switch jammed on empty.
Remove the lower rear panel of washer.
Remove the large black hose fastened to bottom of drum.
Remove and clean the plastic filter inside hose.
Remove the hose onto the pump, and check for blockage or obstruction here.
This should clear the fault

Washer runs then stops after a couple of minutes
Error code F04 is indicating the pressure switch is jammed on empty.
Check the pressure switch and associated wiring , also check the control module connections, and wiring.
The pressure switch is usually located at the top left of washer, it has a small tube going nto it.

Hotpoint wt965 f04 error
F04 indicates that the pressure switch is jammed on empty,
check that the pump is working o/k, if it seems o/k and it drains o/k, then you have no alternative than to call an enginner
This really is your only option.

Sounds like water pressure could be low or inlet pipe is kinked.

F04: possible filling or water level problem. Check water inlet pipe (or shut-off valve), or the outlet pipe, or the pump or pump filter if accessible (check for blockages or foreign objects). Also could be the water valve solenoid weak, causing filling to be too slow.

F05: possible draining (pumping off) problem, check the pump filter, or pump, outlet pipe, or U-BEND.

hi there f10 fault code means pressure switch not sensing,
this could be to do with low water pressure or a bad connection on the pressure switch or control module which is located at the back left hand corner of the machine, remove backplate to gain access and remake all connections on module, if this should not resolve the fault i would be looking to replace the pressure first part no= C00112659 cost about £15

ps. always disconnect from mains before carrying out any work
