Question about General Electric WSSH300G Front Load Washer

Door leaks water

The door does not close flush to the washer itself and when it fills up and starts to wash, the water comes out of the bottom of the door. And the washer is showing door is locked in place.

Washer leaks water

If this leak is coming from the front door, replace the door and drum seal. If this leak is coming from the bottom or rear bottom area, this will be a loose drain hose or, faulty inlet water valve assembly connection.

Inspect these areas closely.

Kemore HE is leaking when washer is filling up with water

OK, if this leak is coming from the front lower side of the door, this Will eb a door seal issue. make sure the seal isn't compromised by a small object that may have been jammed during the closing of the door. if this isn't the case, replace the faulty door seal.

Now, if this leak is coming from the the bottom back side of the unit. this will be a water valve issue. check the hoses that connect to the inlet valve. make sure the hoses are tightly screwed on there respective sections.

first check that gasket around door for rips tears and warpped condiction..if that not the case this will help...easy now go slow than check unit,,grasp the door and bend SLOWLY..from bottom of door and hinge,,because sometimes we hang wet clothes over the door ,and bend the hinge..the last but neat trick is to put 2 washers behind the door latch lock..between the door latchlock,,and the inner panel..that will push the latch back and make the door itself get tighter against the gasket..dont worry about the extra water that is just a flush down,,,keep me posted onthejob

FRIGIDAIRE DISHWASHER FDB1050REC0 LEAKS UNDERNEATH

There are a couple reasons water may be leaking out the door of a dishwasher.
1. The water is most likely coming out the bottom of the door where there is no rubber seal.
2. The rubber seal is around the door jam on top and both sides and not on the bottom. This means if the dishwasher has to much detergent in it the soap suds push only the water higher than the front edge of the wash basin and out the bottom of the door where there is no seal!
3. Fill only the soap cup that can close for the secondary wash. The open cup is a pre-wash and mostly not needed unless the food is baked on.This just wastes money to fill both of them every time.
4. And if you are using liquid detergent you only need half the amount from the powdered soap!
try less soap. Remember to much soap too can cause the water overflow.
5. And the last would be that the drain is clogged and caused a back up large or small and then the overflow!
is there water in the bottom when the wash is done?
Soap is usually the culprit, not that there can't be a leak in an old drain or water supply hose!
Go with the soap idea first!

Let me know how you are!
How old is the washer ?

Dishwasher running with door open

most dishwashers will stick on pump if there is water in he base of the dishwasher . If you tilt the washer back only about 45 degs and water runs out of the back at the bottom the you have a leak but it could come from any where. But when there is no water in the base then your washer should start to work again until it fills back up
