Or www.digikey.com just make sure to use caps with low ESR, 105c, high ripple current, long life rating such as PANASONIC FM or FC series.

Look at the power supply first; look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc.

u can attached the internal or external tv card with your lcd monitor and u can use ur lcd monitor as a tv.

spilled coffee or cola on the the desk
soak it in water, with 1 drop dish soap.
let is side there, even lay down paper towels soaked.
then in 15 to 30min, it will un glue.

this is not a PC question, or electronics
pure mechanics.

Sounds like a Power Supply comcponent failure in the high voltage panel supply circuit.
Backlight power seems to be ok.

It could be used as a monitor if you have on of thoose advanced Digital Tuners, They usually have a DVI or VGA port.Especially the HDTV ones. Connect thoose and you're off. If your monitor supports TV tuning, just connectt eh cable straight away and you should be able to watch TV. I would use digital tuners since they are becoming Widely avaible.

you need one of those tv tuner add-in cards for the pc. these are usually pci type of card that goes inside your pc. If you dont want to open up your pc, there are also usb type/model of these tv tuner. they also come with their own drivers and tv viewing software
