Question about Computers & Internet
More than likely it is your power supply that is bad. However, if the location where you stored it had the potential of being damp and humid, then you may need to replace the motherboard.
To replace the power supply, first you need to open your case and look for the power supply. It is the device that you plug the power cord, from the wall, into. Remove the power supply and read the label to find out the wattage, then replace with a power supply that has similar wattage. You also need to pay attention to the form factor. If you have a standard sized tower, you will probably need and ATX or micro-ATX.
