Issue with the ac jack. It has a loose connection. you will need to open up the laptop and remove the board to re-solder the AC jack.

Truck won't start unless i jiggle wires under dash.

I doubt it unless you are moving the wires coming out of the switch.
Sounds like a bad connection or broken wire in the harness you are moving around.
It could involve the neutral safety switch and the harness you are moving could come from that switch.

G Drive Disappears

if the G drive is a external hard disk ..check the power for it ..and the cables ..When the power it is out or the cable connection interrupted the drive will no longer be available on the computer drives folder..
If the hard disk is still operable ..just check teh connections ..and will work ..Also try to change the usb port cause some of them may not support it .Always wait the computer to find it and install it first and only look for it after the computer will say the device is installed and ready to be used.

It'd help if you could say what kind of interruption you experienced. As long as its working now, I\d suggest you copy all your data onto another storage device and do another format. It'll take care of any bad or corrupted cluster that might've formed. Your data should be fine.

About 3 times a day the external battery pack for the computer beeps really fast. Then stops.

Most "desktop" computers do NOT have an exernal battery pack. If your does, that's OK.

The "beeps" probably occur when the AC power from the wall-outlet is interrupted (or is cut-off). The charge in the battery continues to supply power to your computer -- so, your computer does NOT crash.

When i turn the power on at the plug it clicks the green power light on and off on its own without powering up

This is probably normal IF you are interrupting the power externally.

The processor in the monitor is just reseting itself before setting the power relay into the off mode.

Western Digital external USB 2.0 Problem

Buy an External USB 2.0 Hub with the 5.0V power supply. I have a TARGUS 4 Port Hub. MY WD2500XMSB works fine thru the HUB, but will not work using any cable (even the one that came with it) when directly connected to the USB port on my computer. The power consumption of passports sometimes exceeds the .5 milliwat rating for the ports and ccause the port power to interrupt (see USB 2.0 specifications). The external hubs with external power have a higher power output usually an can power the passport drives. CW Rumsey
