Dear kevin16,
Look, if this is the problem for ur mobile. I think u should reformat ur mobile. If u do it, ur mobile phone will be in 1st class condition, ie no slow performance, no hangups.
But u need to backup ur contacts or necessary things if u need it. If u think it is dangerous & will erase all apps. It is false, it takes phone to condition of the brand new phone only.
To format ur phone, u need to follow these things:
1) Turn off ur phone.
2) press & hold 3 buttons (green dial button+*+3) and turn on the phone.
3) Hold those buttons until formatting screen appears.
4) when finished, it will restart ur phone.
5) and ur phone is ready to be started like as just bought .
===============================================
It will surely works, so kindly send me feedback.
If u send me feedback, i will help in u in different problems later on.

My problem is my 3230 cellphone sometimes it appear memory full closed some application.

You may want to delete the following items regularly to avoid memory getting
low:
• Messages from the Inbox, Drafts, and Sent folders in Messaging.
• Retrieved e-mail messages from the phone memory.
• Saved browser pages.
• images and photos in images.
To delete contact information, calendar notes, call timers, call cost timers, game
scores, or any other data, go to the respective application to remove the data.
If you are deleting multiple items and another of the following notes are shown:
Not enough memory to perform operation. Delete some data first. or Memory low.
Delete some data. try deleting items one by one (starting from the smallest item).
Clearing the calendar memory - To remove more than one event at a time, go to
the Month view and select Options→Delete entry→

Text, mms and call log

it is a known issue with blackberries....it means you have low memory....check your file free for memory by goign to options, status....it will be the file free (listed in bytes). if there is anything lower then 4,000,000 bytes (3 MB) then you have low memory. i sugest purchasing a memory card and transfering your data over there....if you do, figure out where that info is going by pressing the menu button (while still in status) and selecting the option database sizes...

if content store has the largest byte size, delete info like pictures, email, sms, mms (if you have any left) a possibly games and themes (to delete games and themes, you have to run the application loader wich is the program that is installed on the cd that came with your phone). if you need assitance with this, contact your service provider. like i said, its a known issue.....they will know how to fix it.

There might be some virus which can affect message supproting files. else corrupted phone memory data due to some prior installed software. Try to uninstall sms related symbian software installed before the problem actually took. if problem persists then Format your phone memory before have a bacup of phone date to memory card

Problem with sending a text message

hello alexann, Your phone is out of ram memory. Symbian phones use the internal memory as rom memory (dinamically allocated) ram memory (for user programs) and firmware storage. If the internal memory is almost full the phone will begin to give you such errors because it can't load into ram the text aplication that is require to start in order to process sms messages. Please try to avoid to fill the internal memory and instead move anything from it to the memory card. A full internal memory can result in slow phone operation, errors, program crashes or even the failure to boot-up (start) the phone. Therefore, in your case you should try to free more internal memory (phone memory) and check the sms folder to see if you can send messages. If this doesn't solve, you may have a virus or a bad program installation that corrupted symbian OS's registry. This will require to hard reset the phone. Please come back with a reply if these methods fail. Good luck!

"Memory Low, Delete Some Data"

You might want to try a "Hard-Reset" To do this you turn of your phone, press and hold "Answer Call(Green)"+"3"+"*" and then turn it on. This should reset your phone completely and clear the memory. CAUTION, back up all your vital data before you do this, it clears EVERYTHING.
