My cd player not working

If pressing power switch does not turn on system, do the following:
- Fuse is located in lower finish panel under the glove box in front of passenger seat. From under the dash remove the fuse box cover and: - Check fuse (ACC, 7.5 Amp) and (AM1 25 Amp)
- Under the hood check fuse (Dome 15 Amp)
- Check wiring harness and connectors.
- Rapid temperature change occurred. If so replace the radio receiver.

Cd player not working takes a long time to load, then comes up err1 and takes a long time to eject. i own a toyota yaris yrx 2007

if this happens using all your CD, you may want to try a cleaner disc inserted to the cd player. It may be just a dirty disc. If that does not work, it could be a faulty device.

2007 Toyota Yaris Stereo Won't Eject CDs

you may have to use needle nose pliers to pull them out or remove the radio and open it up and remove them also take a look at the drive belt it may have broke, there are many electrionic places that will repair it if you remove it and take it to them, most of the one i run into broke a belt or 2cds were jamed inside it.

How do you install this thing

Hello cmiller23606,

It installs in a Toyota Yaris or any other vehicle exactly the same way. The device is an FM modulator and has no vehicle specific wiring. You do need a 12V source from the vehicle and a ground connection as well as access to the radio antenna jack.

Connect power and ground to the 40" wire with the inline switch. Be sure to observe polarity. Piggyback the modulator directly onto your in dash receiver by removing the antenna lead from the receiver and plugging it into the FMMOD01. Then run the 21" cable from the modulator to the now vacant receiver antenna jack. Mount it with screws, double sided tape, plastic wire ties, velcro, or permanent glue. Using the side-mounted slide switch, select an FM frequency of either 87.9 or 88.3, plug a source (CD player, minidisc, videocassette or DVD player, iPod, MP3 player, or any other source with a minijack or headphone output).

Tune your in dash receiver to the selected FM frequency and you're ready to go.

Hope this helps.

If I unplug all the wires from the CD player won't the security system lock up my stereo system? Which means that I have to go to a dealer to get the code from them.

Can I install a a 2007 Camry CD/Radio unit in my 2002 Camry?

The 2002 and the 2007 radio connections are markedly different. Remember that the 2007's are "satellite ready"; this changes the back side wiring configurations dramitically.
