The Green CRT is the green bulb in your model. You can get a replacement green CRT at www.tvrepairworld.com

Tv is yellow orange color what is problem

The model indicated does not have a "bulb" as it uses 3 picture tubes.

Examine the picture with color set at zero---stand back and look= if the screen has a mostly yellow (all or part of the screen) you have bad Glycol in the blue picture tube(if need explanation ask) and a look in the lens of the Blue tube will confirm this.

If able with back off and a small mirror look in each lens--red picture, green picture and blue picture.

If the Blue looks like a floodlight with little or no image--bad glycol in that tube.

My screen has little dots appearing sometimes red sometimes blues behind the picture i just replaced the lamp bulb as i thought it would cure the problem

the projection tube needs to be adjust for color alignment, each tube (red, green, blue) must be aligned so you there would be no color smear appear on screen. if it is aligned try to set up the color balance, hue etc.

Image is green color............what is wrong with the tv?

It means that the blue and/or red picture tube (bulb) is not working properly. It could be the tube(s) or the circuits that drive the tube. My money is on the circuits.

Tv comes on for 10 seconds then fades to a green tint then turns completely green for a few seconds than turns off

Hi,
Symptom shows tv got problem with green picture tube that need to be replaced.
Rear projection tv has 3 picture tubes, red-green-blue to make color picture.
Since its an old model so spare parts would hardly be available and local tv repair shop will help you to arrange required part, if they can.
Thanks.

I'm having a problem with the color green being distorted on my TV. Is this a color tube issue, bulb issue, lamp issue?

This is a picture tube type TV. No lamp.
You don't describe the distortion.
A colour green picture that is twisted and shifted away from the other colours is a convergence problem. see Projection TV Convergence on this site.
If the green is smeared, out of focus, larger than the other colours like a halo around objects, things like that, it is the green picture tube. Sony has discontinued most of the picture tubes so you may not be able to get this fixed.

Coloring going out on big screen

the tubes go for around 300 each and you have 3 of them, But you dont need new tubes. Change the CRT coolant and you will see your color will come back and so wont the clarity.

Color Lamp

It is not as simple to replace as a bulb. This is a picture tube, and for a novice, no play it safe and have a tech have a look first. Just because the picture tube does not light up, does not mean the tube is bad. There could be several things in the solid state circuits that could cause this problem. Good Luck
