Are you able to discover and connect to other Bluetooth devices?
To put the WEP200 into pairing mode, the user must ensure the headset is off then press and hold the multi-function button for eight seconds, or until the LED glows a steady blue. Samsung uses the standard "0000" as the pairing code for the device. Hope this helps
1 Turn your bluetooth headset off. If it is on, press and hold multi-function button(for about 4 seconds) until the LED blinks twice.
2 Prepare your bluetooth enabled phone to be ready to go to search mode.
3 Turn your bluetooth headset on in pairing mode. (Press and hold the multi-function button for almost 9 seconds. The LED will be steadily LIT.)
4 Activate the Search option in your phone. You should see Samsung WEP200 in your phone's screen. Choose that and press OK
5 The phone will ask for a passkey.
Then press OK.
Give it a few seconds, your phone and bluetooth headset will be paired.
Pairing will create a unique and encrypted wireless link between two Bluetooth enabled devices, such as your Bluetooth phone and Bluetooth headset.
Ensure that the headset is off (see Turning the headset on/off).
Press and hold the Multi-Function button until the indicator light turns on in blue (approximately 8 seconds).
Set your Bluetooth phone to discover the headset by following your phone's guide. Typically, the steps involve going to a 'Setup', 'Connect', or 'Bluetooth' menu on your phone and then selecting the option to discover Bluetooth devices.
Your phone will find the Samsung WEP200 headset and ask if you want to pair with it. Confirm this by pressing the Yes or OK key.
Enter a passkey or PIN, 0000 (4 zeros), then press the Yes or OK key.
If pairing was successful, the indicator light will flash in blue 10 times rapidly before going to flashing every 3 seconds. If unsuccessful, the light remains on, and you will need to re-attempt pairing.
Starting with it turned off, press and hold the Multi-Function Button for some 8 seconds, until the indicator light is steadily lit in blue, thus indicating it is in pairing mode. Only then, make the device you want to pair your headset to search for new devices. After a while, the WEP200 should appear on-screen. Select it and make it connect. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). If the pairing process is successful, your headset will enter the stand-by mode. There might be an indication on the other device that it is connected to a bluetooth headset too. Once they are paired to each other, all subsequent connections between them should be achieved simply by bringing they both within each other's range (with their bluetooth radios turned off, of course).
By the way, if your headseet's user guide happens to be missing, feel free to download it from this location.
Be sure the the headset in in 'Pairing' mode. When in pairing mode, the light should be flashing red and blue or have a steady blue.
The put most headsets in pairing mode, turn headset OFF, then hold the power button until it goes into pairing mode as discribed above.
Then you can discover it with your phone.
First you have to enable the Bluetooth to scanning mode, To do this, press and hold the power button continously for 10 seconds, you may have a stable LED, this shows that its in discoverable mode, Now perform scanning and you may get your device and you can pair using 0000 and make it work
YOu will have to put the headset in pairing mode by keeping the power button pressed till the light becomes solid blue instead of blinking. Now switch on the blue tooth of your mobile and try pairing,. it should work. passcode will be 0000
It worked with my iphone also, i have WEP250. First u need to turn off bluetooth on the phone also, then turn off tooth, then push and hold till solid blue light comes up, then turn on blue tooth on the fone, it finds it in 2 sec, passcode 0000
blue tooth is a usb transmitter.
so obvisously u got to get the 2 to the right frequency.
look for a small button to press on the samsung...sounds like u need the manually. look online for it.
