My console is not syncing at all, either wired or wireless. I've tried like 4 controllers and nothing is working. What else can I try?? At this point, I'll try anything.

My new wireless controlpad will not connect

I'm having the same problem... Only when I click my PS button, it flashes, normally. Then again, it's faint, and very, very fast, machine-gun-like flashing. And it's really annoying. Who knows how to fix this problem? I've tried resetting, there's no way to connect the controller with the console it's self, I've tried using the wire to connect it... No luck, nothing's happening. Please help?

How to Configure an Xbox Controller Fotolia.com"> configure-xbox-controller-800x800.jpg Configure you Xbox controller.

The Xbox 360 utilizes two types of controllers: wired and wireless. Like most operations on a video game console, configuring a controller requires little effort. You can either plug the controller into a port on the Xbox 360, or sync a wireless controller using the console's built-in controls.
Difficulty:Easy Instructions

  1. Wired
    • 1 Connect the controller's cable to the in-line release cord. This cord prevents you from accidentally pulling the Xbox 360 along with your controller during game play.
    • 2 Insert the in-line release cord's USB plug into the USB port on the front of the console.
    • 3 Turn on the console to activate the controller automatically.
    Wireless
    • 1 Insert batteries in your wireless controller, if necessary.
    • 2 Hold down the "Guide" button on the controller.
    • 3 Push the Xbox 360's "Connect" button, located on the front of the console.
    • 4 Push the controller's "Connect" button to sync it with the Xbox 360.

I can not get controller to work

Have you tried syncing it? To sync it, press the small circle button beside the LB button.

If it's already synced, have you tried pressing and holding the GREEN X (not the blue X) in the middle of the front of the controller? If you do this, the controller should work.

If nothing works, return your Xbox 360 controller for a new one.

None of my wireless controllers will sync. They were all previously synced and worked fine, one morning i tried to use them and they would not connect. I have tried syncing by pressing both the button on...

Your Xbox 360 console is utilizing wireless connectivity for controllers through a radio frequency. Chances are the receiver for that frequency might be encountering some hardware failure for your console or for the controllers. You might want to try connecting your wireless controllers to a different console and see if it will work. If it does connect, maybe it is time for your Xbox 360 to give a little visit to the Microsoft Service Center.

Neither of my xBox 360 wireless controllers will sync with my 360 console. I have tried both contollers with a variaty of battery packs and they still wont sync but i have no problem with my wired...

Remove the batteries from both controllers, and unplug the Xbox for a minute. Now turn the Xbox on by the power button on the console, Install the batteries in your controllers, and hit the Console sync button first, then hit the little sync button on top of the controller.
If this does not work, you can purchase the wired charge pack that you must plug in to the USB port of the console to charge, and this will sync as your wired controller does. When it is synced unplug the wire from the controller and voila. Remember, the charger pack will look like this.

Xbox controller will not sync with console

Disconnect the power cord from the 360 for a couple of minutes.

Plug it back in and turn it on. Power turn on a different controller than the one that isn't working and sync it with the 360.

Now turn on the original controller that wouldn't sync, and use the sync buttons on the 360 and controller. It should sync up and go to player 2 slot.

Everything should be good now, that's how I fixed mine.

Wireless controller

I dont know if you have been able to figure out what the proble was with your 360, but the exact SAME thing happened to me. The 360 seems to be working fine, game loads, and both the consoles and the controllers rings lit up green, but then the controllers ring just keeps flashing and the console won't recognize it. I 've tried other controllers and nothing worked and obviously I tried to synch it with the console time and time again. PLEASE HELP!!!
