its probably your cold water rinse only valves solenoid thats loose on the structure or the coil itself is loose, you may not hear it all the time especially during the initial wash start fill, try this, set the washer for cold water fill only on the washer, but turn off the water valves that supply water and start your machine to a wash cycle as normal, try this and see if it dry buzzes(without water),then try the same on the hot side, then with the water still off open up the machine and you can localize the buzzing noise
Check the drain hose may be kinked. Washers have been known to eat socks, they go in to the the tub during the spin cycle and down in the pump. If you are so inclined to look dome pumps are clear and you can see the sock. There is a hose clamp to remove and you may be able to remove the sock. Reassemble and test. Remember as always to unplug the washer first before doing any work. This exploded view has a washer and if you hover over the bottom right it will show what the pump looks like. http://www.repairclinic.com/Washing-Machine-Top-Load-Maytag-Style-Appliance-Diagram Good luck
The buzzing sound is the cold water inlet valve is getting power but water is not able to enter. You need to have the valve replaced or make sure the cold water is turned on at the sink. Hope that helps, let me know.
An HF Code is a Water Inlet Problem- No or Insufficient Water Supply.
Press Pause/Cancel twice to cancel the cycle. Then, unplug the washer.
Run down the list again:
Make sure faucets are completely turned on.
Make sure the fill vavles (screens where water enter machine) aren't clogged.
Make sure the hoses aren't kinked, etc.
Plug the machine back in. Try another cycle. If the problem still occurs, You may need to replace your Water Fill Valve. Let me know if you need any further assistance.
sounds to me that something is stuck in your pump check the pump if you open the pump have lots of towels on hand the machine will not spin if it does not drain
I had the same problem with my Kenmore Model 11022956102 washer and first thought that it was the water inlet valves. So I replaced them, but found the problem continued. After about 25 seconds into the rinse cycle the water only trickled in. Checking with a voltage meter I found that I lost 120V at terminals 3 & 5 on the washer temperature controller after 25 seconds. Even though the wiring diagram doesn't show the water temperature control board, since it's full of resisters and capacitors, I figured it was the most likely problem. So I ordered a remanufactured board from Parts Simple (#3407125), received and installed it. The 17 year old washer is now working fine once again. I hope this helps someone with the same problem. /s/ Paul
I have the same problem. The water drains, but I have no spin leaving the clothes soaked. I get a humming sound and thats it. The rest of the washer works fine. Any help would be great.
