It would be better to spray when the weeds are not wet, that way the poison will be applied to the weeds at full strength and absorbed into the plant directly.

Where so I get 2 new fenders for the Savoy LE 26RKS?

If you are a "fair weather" cyclist, you don't need fenders, but if you are a serious cyclist, and don't live in a desert climate, you really should have at least one bicycle with fenders.

Fenders make a tremendous difference when you are riding roads that are wet from drizzle, recent rain, or snowmelt.
In a hard rain, you may become wet with clean rain from above, but fenders will protect your body and bicycle from the mud and sand kicked up from dirty puddles and rivulets.

The British use the word "mudguards". In the early days of the bicycle when horses were common, that word only began to describe the advantage of fenders!

Rainproof clothing completes the picture of the well-equipped wet-weather cyclist. A rain cape -- and if you need to keep your hair dry, a helmet cover -- allow free ventilation and maximum comfort. A jacket of Gore-Tex™ or other breathable fabric also can do the job, though it can get sweaty and hot in a warm rain. A jacket with a hood, or a conventional poncho, is not recommended, because it will interfere with vision when turning the head.

Fenders Protect Your Bicycle Many cyclists protect themselves from rain by wearing rainproof clothing, but they forget that their bicycles don't like dirty water any better than their bodies do.

The water kicked up by your wheels is much worse for your bicycle than the clean rain falling from the sky. If you ride in wet conditions without fenders, your chain, derailers and brakes will all get sprayed with sandy, muddy, scummy water, often mixed with gasoline residue. This is very bad for these parts.

Even more vulnerable is the lower section of your headset. Headsets are designed to shed water like the shingles of a roof, and are basically rainproof...but the gritty spray from below has easy entry to the bearing surfaces of the heavily-loaded lower races.

Runs good when dry, but cant drive when raining or wet

Could be moisture ingress. Check your wire connections and plugs and clean and spray with a penetrating spray that will repel water. Does your disco have its belly plate on? Or do you drive in deep water.?

Sprayed Roundup Pro at 2oz/gal on a field today. Will a week be long enough to waite prior to tilling and seeding with fall clover?

Shouldn't be any problem, especially if it has rained during the period. It is strictly a contact herbicide so if it's growing under the ground at application it won't get it.

Hi I have a orange orchard and would like to kill off all the grass and weeds. The total area is 4h, how much round up do I require? Alsois it the right time to spray now, before the rains? Kindly...

If you want to be completely sure that you kill everything then use 4 lits of roundup 360 per ha be careful not to spray even the woody areas on the tree as they can take the glyphosate can be absorbed through the bark and kill the tree. In terms of timing then the weeds should be actively growing i.e. after a rain but don't spray on a wet leaf.

When to put down& can i put down during rain

Putting Roundup down when raining will not be effective. The toxin needs to sit and dry on the leaves of the plants. For the best results wait for a warm, dry and wind-less morning to spray.

My brand new piccolo shoes got wet in the rain and now smell like mildew. Can I throw them in the washer?

I have those shoes! They're awesome, and they are indeed machine washable. Just wash them on a delicate cycle, by themselves. DO NOT dry them. Leave them somewhere warm to dry, like next to a radiator or heater. If you don't have a suitable location, I'd put them in the dryer on low heat for a short period of time (20 minutes), but be careful.

How soon after spraying with roundup can I lay sod over the sprayed area?

Round up works while it is WET. You can replant the neat day, but I would wait for a good hot day to let it dry up well.

Hope this helps

Problems in wet weather and cleaning my triumph won't start.

Water is getting into your ignition coils.
Trace the spark plug lead up to the coil.
Get some ignition sealer spray and spray loads of it on the leads and coil.
When a bike is new, it is sealed. After washing with detergents it gets washed away. Spray the leads and coil once a week to keep them totally dry.
An immediate way to get round when wet is to spray wd40 on the leads and coil, it should start straight away.
But, don`t spray ignition sealer on until it is totally dry.
Hope this helps
