Question about Casio Exilim EXZ75 Digital Camera
So, my boyfriend has a Casio Exilim EX-Z77 that's only a few months old, and he's only used it a hand-full of times. When he tried to use it (after it had been working fine just a few days before and hadn't been damaged in any way) the lens/zoom kept zooming in and out, uncontrollably. Now, the lens/zoom is stuck in the out/zoomed in position. When you press the power button, the lens/zoom clicks repeatedly, then zooms in and the power light rapidly flashes green. Then, the lens zooms back out while clicking, the flashing green light continues, the clicking stops, the light stops blinking and the camera is presumably off. This happens every time we press the power button now. Any suggestions?
Have you tried taking out the batteries and leaving it alone for a bit, then loading new batteries? I would try this first before anything. Good Luck.
