Question about Kingston (DTIU3/2GB) 2 GB USB Hard Drive
IM HAVING problem with kingston DTI/4GB ITS SHOWING MSG LIKE
"WINDOWS CANNOT RECONIZED THE DEVICE . THEN ITS NOT OPENING ALSO. PLZ REPLY SOONA S POSSILBLE
Hey if kingston usb does not open as a folder at all you can go to properties-autoplay and choose 'prompt me each time to choose an option' and then remove kingston and put it again
this will start its autoplay where u can choose 'open folder to view files'
it is not a permanent fix but it helps

plug your 2gb kingston into your PC, check what drive letter has been assigned to your kingston, (let's say- E:)
go to RUN and type CMD
from the c: Prompt type e: press enter
type the following
(then take note of the files displayed)
attrib -h -s -r -a
type del autorun.inf
type del XXXXX.XXX (name of the files noted earlier)
after deleting all the files noted earlier
your flash drive should be okay now

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
