Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

1 Answer

I've never used this pictbridge and don't know how to get started. I don't know where my manual is (if I have one)- I bought my 944 new 2-3 yrs. ago. My computer is too full to store more pictures...and I would just like to see some taken in the last 4-5 days. Thanks, Pat

Using Pictbridge is fairly simple. Just connect the cable (that you already use to connect to the PC) to the printer usb port. activate the Pictbridge option on your camera. you will have to use the cameras display to select the photo you want to print and the different options like number of prints, paper size etc. Load the printer with appropriate paper and print away. :)

My camera's card was removed from camera and put into the little white thing for putting it in pictbridge and then inserted in the pictbridge. The camera is no longer attached to computer.

How can I view my pictures from the pictbridge on my computer- Actually I would like to put some of these photos on Facebook.

The situation is pretty clear now. You dont need to use Pictbridge for this purpose at all. pictbridge is only used to print pictures by directly connecting the camera to the printer. Any how you should remove the memory card from the Pictbridge adapter and insert it into the PC by using a proper card reader. If you are unable to understand this, Connect your camera with the memory card installed to your PC with the help of the data cable which was provided with the camera into any of the USB ports of your PC. Your camera will turn up as a "Removable Storage Device" in your pc. Goto "My Computer" and double click on the new drive that has turned up. You should be able to see the pictures you have taken.

Please leave a comment if you need any further assistance.

The camera is no longer attached-but I did take the card from the camera, put it in little white container and have it in the correct slot--Is it possible to view the photos that are on that card on my monitor--I would like to choose which pict and put some on Facebook. Is this possible?

I'm looking for a manual for a Tasco 851TR telescope - any suggestions

Here is the support center for Tasco. Several manuals are listed on this page about 1/2 way down. Find one that is similar to your telescope. They all assemble and are used the same way.

Tasco only sells two types of telescopes a REFLECTOR and a REFRACTOR style telescope.

Do some research on 'PictBridge' If both your Kodak and Olympus cameras mention that they are PictBridge compatible, then anu Pictbridge compatible printer would be OK.

Find and remove the horn fuse or relay to keep the horn from blasting and attempt to start the vehicle. If it starts inspect the clearance between the horn switch and its ground contact. If there is a factory alarm, which I doubt, that has been reset by disconnecting the battery/battery going dead then call your local Porsche dealer for additional advice.

Start at the coil. With key in on, the coil should have a hot wire to the primary side of coil. You have the manual-does it show troubleshooting for the ignition system? You will most certainly need an automotive volt tester, a digital volt-ohm meter (DVOM) is best buy, also known as a multi-meter. Doesn't have to be an expensive one either-$30 for decent ones. Use it to test for power at the coil when key is on- that's why they call it the "ignition switch", hey? So if you have power to coil, read up on your ignition system to see how the coil is controlled to deliver spark. On American makes of those years, an ignition control module was used to turn the primary side of coil on and off. Before computers, the ICM was controlled by a pick-up coil inside the distributor to tell the control module where the crankshaft was. So spark would be delivered at the right time.
