Hi, I looked up this unit, 5 to 8,000 b.t.u's about 1/2 of cooling, good unit. You say its not doing anything at all like maybe blowing just warm or room temperature air, or just a green light is on and its dead in the water? It didn't give me anything on stats for this unit, but you must have power to the unit. What I would do first, is to find the breaker that controls the plug that you run it on, turn it off for about 7 to 10 minute's, and reset breaker to see if there's a change. If you are a handyman or lady, you can try, since this is a newer model, try after pulling the plug, removing the front cover. Take the knobs off. Where the knob for the thermostat control is mounted, you should find some screws and a metal plate you can remove and this is where you will find your wiring control compartment. Look for any reset in the area, or possibly they may have a portion of this unit fused on the circuit board like they do on the larger circuit boards. Look for any signs of burned or blacked areas in the electrical area also. If not, we will have to go from there and take the steps to trouble shoot deeper into the system to find why you have power as the led light is on, but something has taken place. Keep me posted, and start at the main power supply like I asked first and we will go from there. Let me know what you find.
Sincerely,

Hi, Thanks for getting back to me. Yes, the first model number that was listed showed it was a 5,000 to 8,000 btu unit, but doesn't matter. So, you do have a reset on the power cord itself. It has to be reset or you would not have any display at all, so this unit is off on a safety control switch, for example, a low pressure switch, high head pressure, which means the outdoor coil may be dirty. You can take a hose and wash it out to see if this changes anything. This happens a lot on all other units as dirt gets drawn into the coil causing high head pressures in the unit. These are cleaned during a service on a unit, but it is something you can try. I just want to give you some idea's you can check on your own as you are limited on what you can do with out the equipment. Since the compressor or fans are off, the system is locked out on a control and without being there to read the schematic to check the sequence of operation, makes it tough as there are no symtoms but a unit that's doing nothing but has power to run. It has to be off on one of those safety's to keep it from doing more damage to this unit. Wash that coil out and we can see if it is off on high head and may reset the switch that's in the system. This is all it takes is for one switch, either a normally open or closed set of contacts to malfuntion and shut it down. If this does not do it, you may have to call a tech to locate what has happened, as it would be almost impossible for me to walk you through the wiring diagram and locate which part has failed. It doesn't sound major which is good, or the reset would be tripping each time. I would call around and check prices. Normally it will be a 1-hr. minimum to come out and check it. If you do end up calling, ask if there is a travel charge, trip, or truck charge. You should be able to find someone that will include everything in a 1-hour charge. When I worked for other companies in the past, our service manager would give us 1 hour to trouble-shoot and find the problem on a residential unit. Just make sure they are a licensed contractor, and anything over 1 hour should be broken down in 1/4 hours. I wish you all the luck on this, and it would be great to be there. Try cleaning the condenser coil and that may take care of the problem, you will know.
    Sincerely,
    Shastalaker7

This is an alert. Your unit has a self diagnostics. The blinking light indicates a malfunction. check or clean the air filters. Go to the outdoor unit or your breaker box and turn off the power. Have a KDF 60Wf 655 will not turn on. Green light comes on then red light with 7 blinks any suggestions? Took bulb out but the bulb light never lit and the bulb doesn't look blown.

Wether it looks blown or not replace it and dont put oil from your fingers on the bulb. Also clean the cooling fans for the bulb and projector (which may mean taking the back off and taking apart projector). Dirt in the projector fans can cause a fault not allowing for the unit to turn on. All the cooling work ins conjunction with a good bulb.

It sounds to me like there's a few bad capacitors on the main power supply board, take the back off and look around for any electrolytic capacitors that have puffed out tops.

Light keeps flashing red,amber, green

If you turn off the printer and turn it back on, do you get any noises, ie motor noises, or does it instantly go to all lights flashing?
If you get no noises this usually indicates a board fault and you should look for a new printer.
