Check in back side of cpu cabinet.
You find 4 screws or more open all screws then pull plate in back side of cpu then you can open cover.
Then if you want to remove harddrive from cabinet then open 2 screws of harddrive then you can pull it.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
Thanks for using FixYa.

The manuals listed only shows how to access and remove the logic board from the back of the tower. I need to remove the hard drive from the unit prior to recycling but don't know how to remove the case to gain access. any ideas?

I pod showing an apple all the time

You are going to need a computer with the latest version of iTunes on it and unfortunately this will fully erase all data on the device Its called Forced Recovery.
So with the device plugged into your PC, iTunes open, if it shows up in iTunes eject it, or cancel the prompt to restore a device in recovery mode.

Hold down the Power button for 3 seconds

Without releasing the power button, also hold the Home button for 10 seconds

Without releasing the home button, release the power button and keep holding the Home button for About 20 seconds.

iTunes will detect an iPod/iPhone in recovery mode, let off button and set down device and hit RESTORE in iTunes.

I cannot open my iphone 4 and its stuck. there is a apple drawing with bone in the screen

One solution here is to force reboot your iPhone. To do that, simply press & hold the POWER & HOME buttons together for around 3 to 5 seconds or until the logo appears again.
If in case the logo appears but it still won't go through, the best solution is to re-do the jailbreak, which in your case I assume is by using greenpois0n.
If you are familiar in using this jailbreak tool (greenpois0n), download it by using the links below then re-do the jailbreak to fix your iPhone 4. If you're not at all familiar with this, you may read the step-by-step guide on using greenpois0n right here on FixYa. CLICK HERE to read the guide.

My i phone will not get pass the apple screen

first this is what you need
itunes latest version computer, of course, usb cable for your iphone internet connection

Connect the iPhone to iTunes. Hold down the POWER+HOME buttons together for about 7-8 seconds until you see the Apple logo appear. About a second after the Apple logo appears, release the POWER button, but keep holding the HOME button until iTunes detects your iPhone in "Recovery Mode" Release the HOME button then itunes shall ask you to restore Do a "Restore" on your iPhone as you normally would
this would take awhile, and you would notice that the phone seems not to be doing anything, it is normal, let i proces for 20 to 30 mins maximum, depends on internet connection and pc speed, wait for it to finish until itunes says it is done.

I Did some kinda factory restore from the phone and it Froze

If only the apple logo is appearing, perhaps (and please dont flame me for even suggesting this) that it isnt charged. If youre like me, you wait until the last second to charge it and when the battery is drained, the only thing I get after hitting the power button is the apple logo.

If you are sure this isnt the case, the reset might have been interrupted and thus, the phone didnt restore properly. Go ahead and do another restore.

Directions in case you need them:
  1. Turn off iPhone - Hold down the Sleep/Wake buttonfor a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the redslider. Ignore this step if your iPhone is already off.
  2. Press and hold down the Home button for about 10 seconds until a yellow triangle with a text which says Please Connect to iTunes appears.iphone-recovery-mode.jpg
  3. Plug the iPhone into Mac or Windows PC. Release the button if you haven’t.
  4. Run and open iTunes if it’s not already opened yet.
  5. iTunes will prompt a message that says iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. Click OK.
  6. You will be taken to the iPhone pane. Then, click on Restore.
  7. Wait for the full restoration process to complete, and the iPhonewill be back to the original settings state as when it left themanufacturing factory, typically a working phone again if you face anyproblem, unless it’s hardware related.

Apple g4 digital audio Power supply API-9841

Solution: Replace power supply with a new one. Anything else might cause equipment damage, personal injury or death.

Any attempt for component level repair is not for the novice tinkerer. remember, opening the power supply might kill you.

My suggestion is to have the failed power supply module replaced with a brand new supply by a qualified repair technician.

Open case of Apple Powerbook G3

Several screws on bottom and the whole top case snaps off. It will take a little time on this model to gently pry. Also, I think the keyboard comes off first before removing the top cover by two finger pegs. It's been a long time since I worked on this model you you'll just have to get in and look around. Very common on this design that the power plug just needs re-soldered to the motherboard.
