LG v181 won't eject - it tries to load even when there is no disc and won't slide out the tray at all.

It's likely a belt that drives the tray has snapped or come off! If you take the top off you might well see it!

The dvd starts for a moment and the ejects

Hello
The sled motor of your dvd mechanism has damaged. Sled motor is one which spins the DVD inside as it has been loaded. If this motror does not work, that is, it has been stopeed, the disc won't spin inside the machanism, and your systems main control IC will detect this situationan; will give commat to the mechanism to eject the disc. That is happenig now with your DVD player. Replace that motor with an identical one both in size and number. Its number will be printed on its body. You can see and detect its size. OK.

E Machines T3302. DVD will not eject. In hitting the eject button, or right clicking on e-drive for DVD, and clicking on "eject", it sounds like it is trying to eject, but it won't eject....

On the dvd rom drive sound slike it catching on something on the inside stoppin git from ejecting you will have to use a flat head screw driver poke it from the top and very gently pry it open while pushing the eject button as soon as it ejects you can then remove any cds inside it and you can remove the dvd rom drive bezel and close it if it opens and closes freely while this dvd rom bezel is off then the piece of plastic you took off it is slightly made wrong you can get these bezels cheap or by finding an old rom drive and removing that one to replace with yours. any additional questions please use the comment box below Kronoguy

Grundig GR1000 DVD won't eject. Motor makes whirring noise but no action.

It could be either a gear or belt driven motor, you need to remove the top cover to check. If it is belt driven you can replace the belt make sure to take the sample with. If it is gear driven you need to replace the whole carrige unit.

My daughter put the blue ray DVD into the Toshiba 14DLV75 instead of the regular DVD and now it won't eject it. It just keeps spinning like it wants to eject, but won't. How can I get it out?

Hello
Just switch OFF the set by its front panel power control switch, and then switch it On and press the eject button without any delay. Sometimes the tray will eject, and try to close. If so switch OFF the front panel power switch, while it is out, and take away the blu-ray disc. the switch it On. All will be ok then.

My cd/dvd drive is not working.

You could reinstall the CD/DVD drive software, but it sounds like the CD/DVD drive is faulty. You'll need to replace the drive.
