If mail send to your Gmail-Address disapper:
- check your Spamfolder
- Mail settings -> forwarding -> check if the mail gets forwarded
- Mail settings -> filters -> check if there is a filter affecting it.
Gmail is not deleting any mail without your permission.
Sign in your account and go to INBOX section of your account, all your mails will be displayed to you. If u want to check your sent mails, go to "Sent mails" of your account, all your sent mails will be displayed to you.
It's possible that their e-mail service is automatically putting your e-mail into a "Junk Mail" folder because of your yahoo.com e-mail address. Have them check for your e-mail in this, or similarly named folder.
Another way to help ensure delivery is for them to add your e-mail address to their Address Book. Many e-mail services treat this as a "White List" meaning any e-mail received from an e-mail address found in the recipient's Address Book is a known "good" e-mail and is not spam / junk e-mail.
Finally, check to make sure you have your friends' correct email addresses.

in your e-mail account settings check that your outgoing mail server setup is correct. the mail server will look something like 'mail.host.com'. check with your e-mail provider if you don't know the mail server settings.

Try to check the mail using a browser(internet explorer). check whether that domain is under blocked list or not. Click on mail options and go to blocked domain list. check in your mails as well as your sister's mail.

You can also check the blocked list in outlook :
click tools menu -> select options -> preferences tab ->click junk mail button-> click blocked senders tab -> check for any domains listed there.
