Question about Mr. Coffee ISTX95

Open Question

This morning my Mr Coffee (model # 1sx46) stopped brewing after just 2 cups with 10 cups remaining in the resevoir. when I turn it off and select it to brew again the clock hands disappear. we've had the maker for about 2 years. I've tried unplugging/replugging it and it still won't brew. whenever the on button is pushed the clock hands disappear. Any idea what i'm doing wrong.

SOURCE: Keurig starts & stops without brewing coffee, just descaled

The pic is clogged with coffee or the air bladder is bad. Use the tool on the underside of the tray to clean out pic. If that doesn't work, the bladder will be bad.

Usually when that happens you need to clean it out w/ white vinegar and water because it's developed a blockage of some kind. I'd recommend 6 cups vinegar and 6 cups water, and brew it through like a normal brew cycle. If you haven't done this at all in the year that you've owned it then it probably won't work completely the first time. You might have to do it quite a few times, and I suggest doing it at least once a month from here to keep the problem from happening again. And remember to always use a fresh solutution each cycle, don't want anything you take out to go back in, you may not get any coffee then! :)

If you like, there's another way you can do it. Put in the solution of vingear and water, start to brew it, and just when you start seeing it drip into your pot, turn off the unit and let it sit for an hour. Soaking it or running it through several cycles can both help, it's up to you how you go about it.

Mine just started to do the exact same thing. So I decided to clean it using the "Clean" program and just water. I put the brewer through the cleaning program 3 times - each time it would brew water from 12 cups to 8 cups, I'd tap the brewer on the countertop, it would brew from 8 cups to 4 cups, tap it again, and it would brew the remaining cups. So, I called the Mr. Coffee help line (800-672-6333). The most-likely problem is that the hose is no longer attached in the water reservoir. The help line suggested that I take it in to a service center. I live in Urbana, IL and the closest service center is in Oak Lawn, IL - 2 hours away from me!!
Here is my solution:
1) Buy another coffee brewer.
or
2) Smash your current Mr. Coffee brewer into a million pieces (this relieves stress) and go buy another coffee brewer (probably stay away from Mr. Coffee products).

The Clean light will come on when the Clean button is held. It won't go off until the cleaning cycle is complete; it's completely automated. You need 4 cups (20 oz.) of white vinegar or the Mr. Coffee Cleaner (diluted as directed on the package). Make sure to remove the water filter disk from the unit before cleaning. Pour the vinegar or cleaning solution into the reservoir into the reservoir. Put in a paper coffee filter or the permanent filter into the brew basket and slide it into place. Put the empty decanter in place. Now you should press the Clean button until the Clean light comes on. The unit should slow brew 3 cups of the cleaning solution and then pause for about 30 minutes while the Clean light remains on. It should then brew the remaining solution. After the cycle finishes, the Clean light should go off. Afterwards, you need to empty the decanter and rinse it with clean water. Fill the reservoir with fresh, clean water. Then replace the decanter. The cycle could take an hour.

My mr coffee optimal brew just beeps constant when you press the brew now button


My hubbub and I "downgraded" to an "upgraded" Cuisinart to Mr. Coffee Optimal Brew 12 cup carafe, mainly d/t the carafe keeping the coffee hot with no burn taste and the stylish st. steel carafe. We've had 2 cuisinart's and both gave us leaking issues after 3 years of hard use (2 pots daily). The cuisinart leaked and also had the burned coffee taste, We unpacked the Mr. Coffee, cleaned all parts, after several attempts, finally stopped beeping and ran the first clean cycle. We are past ready for a great cup of joe...NO.pot ready, grounds in, attempt to turn it on and...that beeping almost got and may still get this apparatus taken back, traded, gone....but after reading my book that never says a word about beeping, I googled and saw MDLS1 replied and while I thought it was crazy I was not giving up without pulling out crazy, and it worked. After a solid hour, I found an answer... You can't just tap it here and there, I took resevoir off, banged it good, forceful but not to hurt my hand, took the basket out and banged the top and clapped around all sides, filled her up, turned it on and walla.made a perfect 10 cup = about 5 "normal" cups of joe, and it was good...pot made in 8-9 minutes, stayed hot over an hour when it was finished. Tonight, I have a hot cup, hubbub got his,and we are happy campers...however, one more beep and it's gone.

First clean and please try again
Fill the reservoir with water.
Place your mug underneath the machine.
Add the K-Cup.
Choose your serving size.
Press the brew button to begin brewing.

The red light on my coffee pot is on and will not go off. I have run cleaner thru the regular cycle now what? Its a 12 cup programmable Mr. Coffee.


I know this sounds like a pain but it takes a while toget that silly light to stop. Decalcifying your MR. COFFEE® Coffeemaker Minerals(calcium/limestone) found in water will leave deposits in your coffeemaker andaffect its performance. It's recommended that you regularly remove these depositsusing MR. COFFEE® Cleaner or vinegar. MR. COFFEE® Cleaner is available at manyretail stores or by calling the MR. COFFEE® Consumer Service Department at 1-800-MR COFFEE(1-800-672-6333). 1. Follow packageinstructions to prepare one batch of MR. COFFEE® Cleaner. Pour the mixture into the water reservoir. Before decalcifying,remove the water filtration disk from the machine. This morning when my wife went to make coffee. The clean light came on. we couldn't get it to shut off. She went through the clean cycle.The light came back on again. What should we do ?? Mr. Coffee...

My krups 4055 that is less than 2 mos old suddenly wont brew. it brewed about 2 cups and stopped. water still in resevoir & turning it on & off & unplugging doesn't help.

My mr coffee pot will not stop brewing when I pour a cup of coffee while it is still brewing. My model has the brew/pause feature


There may be grounds stuck in the spring loaded gadget next to the pot's pour spout - Remove all interior parts and rinse under water.
