Question about Hotpoint RLA50 Refrigerator
My fridge is freezing some food in it. I have checked the drain hole at the back of fridge and it is clear. I have also changed the temperature control in the opposite direction from the cooler setting. The green indicator temperature inside the fridge is showing OK. Please can you advise.
If the fridge is freezing everything, try this before thinking it's the thermostat first turn down the temp gauge in the freezer, not fridge to about medium, still a bit to cold turn down a little more. It save me heaps

Check the fridge sensor. On my Hoover HNMF2805AL80 f/f, first I replaced control module - still freezing.
Have just replaced cheap fridge temperature sensor. Part No. 97061619. Trouble is you have to cut into insulation at back of fridge to replace. I just plugged in sensor & placed inside fridge at back at the bottom - so far so good, only lettuce freezing now, everything else v. cold but not frozen. :)
