Check the manual if you have to use a Recovery Disc to restore your PC or if there is a short-cut that you will press when you booth your PC to restore it to factory settings because most PC's have these. If there is no recovery disc and a shortcut, reformatting it is the only way to restore your laptop to factory settings.

I have a samsung R519 laptop and the battery indicator icon has started to say it has 0% charge left but I have fully charged it and the button on the battery says it has 100% charge. It seems to still be running but I now cant tell when the battery is low. when it is plugged in it says it is plugged in but not charging. Is there something I can do to fix this? CH

I have a laptop from Medion, where I got a problem with the touchpad. When I am in the windows installation, the mouse works properly, but once it gets into windows, it constantly rightclicks. When i click on the touchpad and make a "markingbox" and releases the click, it pops up with the right click menu. When i tap the touchpad or click on the left click, it also right clicks all the time. But if i plug in an external USB mouse and right clicks and then leftclicks, the touchpad works with leftclicks, except then it cant rightclick.

presario cq50 i think may be stuck in hibernation ... i power on and i get power led and gharge led ( if i have charger in ) i have tried the HDD RAM and battery in another cq50 and all work fine i have managed to boot into windows a number of times and tried normal shut downs when i go to power on again im back to having leds and power but nothing on screen and HDD light flashes and then stays off it might be worth mentioning that when i managed to boot into windows i had the screen only half open so i could see my screen on my desktop while i googled for answers.. it may evn be something as silly as the hibernate pin being stuck but on cq50 it is hidden and although i did take this notebook to pieces i dont know where it is ( it is back together now and working as i managed to boot into windows after taking apart and putting together )
