Question about ASUS Eee PC 900 Notebook
The actully physical plstic piece with the K on its does nothig but push down on a circui board under neath, So certinly you cn use another key but I am sure that might not work unless the key was not mking contct with the circuit board. So you might not hve luck doing that you might want to replace the keyboard as a whole around $60 bucks off ebay. There is a keyboard release screw under the laptop all you need to do is remove the ribbon (be careful tho) you do not want to break the lever. now if you do not feel like you can do this bring the new keyboard wiht your lappy to a local geek.
But sure you can try another key but the possiabilties are slim if that is going to hold.
