There should be a SMALL tray in the back behind the cardboard cover. If you have bad door seals this tray may not be big enough to hold the defrost water. Check door seals and limit the time the doors are open in really humid weather.

It seems as though the water hoses are reversed, Ice maker line and water dispenser line are probably switched, this would explain why the water comes out the door intermittently. It's probably trying to dump water into the ice tray but its coming out the door.

There should be a plastic clip or similar to hold the hose on, this is probably where the water is coming from.
A normal jubilee clip will suffice, or a strong plastic tie.

Hotpoint HDA3230Z02WW Dishwasher leak

Hello ajs10172003
Welcome
You said, you have a leak under my dishwasher every time you run a load but can not tell where it is coming from. When you looked under the dishwasher it appeared to be leaking under a white cylinder shaped part. This is where the water was gathering at. Not sure what this is. Maybe someone can shed some light on this.

It is probably the SOLENOID that is leaking.
This opens and closes to control the water coming in and going out!
And it looks like cylinder as you described.
Time to replace that part if this is the case. An easy repair only a $40 part.
call service!
Let me know how it goes!
Huuum,

Leak well after completion of wash cycle - Neptune Front Loader

peace,
ngafm1 at your service,

Water sprayed out of ( the leaky washers in the hot water shut off valve which need to be replaced.
They are inside all valves and wear out in time from normal use!
Or you can have a bad solder joint at the junction between the hot water shut off valve or the the pipe joint!
these washers in any shutoff valve can leak intermittently till they get worse and then leak all the time!
you should be able to stand there and watch it as you open and close the shut off valve again and again , and then stay there and watch it start leaking!
Or when you are opening it and closing the valve 4 times straight you may feel a trickle of water from the valve stem!!!!
This means washers in the valve stem need to be replaced!!!
Get a new plumber !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm no plumber but I do under stand this!

Bless You,
please give me a good rating here at fixya.com before you sign off!
