I HAVE THE SAME TV. Dont bother with trying to align the crosses your will go crazy if you move your cursor further down the same menu screen you will notice a sort of hidden auto converve option, it will say reset to factory try thatalso i bought a dvi to hdmi adapter and the pic is 1000 times better now good luck

It looks like the convergence ICs need to be replace. The IC markings are STK392-040 and are mounted on 2 big aluminum heatkinks. This might not be a DIY if you do not have any hand soldering experience. This repair will cost you around $300.00 to $400.00 if you have a TV technician to do it.
