Freezer and fridge not maintaining coolness level

check the fan motor. usually behind the unit toward the bottom. you may have to remove a few screws on the cover to gain access. once you do this, look for a small cylindrical unit connected to a fan, it'll have a couple wires coming from it. check to see if it kicks in at all. if not, smack it a couple times with something light, like a screwdriver handle. if it kicks in, that's your problem. if it's not your fan, your freon level may need to be checked.

Refrigerator is only going down to 50.2 degrees and there is frost on back wall of freezer.

the frost on the back wall of the freezer is a usuall indication that there is a problem with the defrost circuit, defrost heater, thermastat, or the defrost timer.you can use a blow dryer and defrost the evaporator coil.remove the rear panel in the freezer to gain access to the evaporator coil.you also need to make sure that the evaprorator fan is functioning properly.

After cleaning coils my refrigerator is still blowing warm air yet the freezer is cold what can I do myself to make the refrigerator cold?

There is a small fan which moves the cold air from the freezer to the refrigerator part. Make sure that this fan is working. If it is not turning, the cold air will not reach the refrigerator.

These fans are easily replaceable; however, you probably will have to remove the interior panels from the refrigerator to gain access.

Side by side GE refrigerator psf26pgta

The fan should be a standard 12v DC computer style fan , test that you are getting voltage to the fan connector . You should also be able to get the fan to run by connecting it to a suitable supply . Once you have eliminated the possibility of fan failure then it gets more involved.
