My LG W53 stopped working

Check whether the product is turned on. I Try another channel. The problem may be with the broadcast. I Is the power cord inserted into wall power outlet? I Check your antenna direction and/or location. I Test the wall power outlet, plug another product's power cord into the outlet where the product's power cord was plugged in. It would seem as though the power supply. If the television is still under warranty I would contact LG to arrange for a servicing of the unit.

If your unit is not under warranty then you either must have a qualified LG technician come out to service the unit at your own expense or attempt to repair yourself which I would not recommend.

llok for Bad Capaciotrs on power supply board they will be vented or swollen on Top. 1000uf 16v 2200uf 10v 3300uf 10v

it might just be confused....interrupt the power to it via the breaker or by unplugging it for a few minutes.....

You have bad capacitors on the Power Supply PCB. There's probably like 9 of them bad, if memory serves me correctly. I have a tutorial published on a Samsung repair involving capacitors. It's not identical, but the solution is similar. I think in the case of your TV, you'll be looking for 3300uF caps with swollen tops. If after looking over the tutorial you decide this isn't for you, get the TV to a repair shop. I highly recommend you stop watching it and unplug it until you get this fixed. Replace the screen with a known working one. If it shows display then it is the screen which is broken, if not, then it could be the port on which it is connected.

Same problem as above. Had mine for 2.5 years and worked fine until I tried to turn it on this morning - won't come on at all. I have tried another power cable and verified that another monitor works on the old one.

in your laptop there is button press f5 or f6 to get dipaly on lg monitor or you can right click and go to display properties and set the dispaly.
