The unit should have a boiler plate behind the front panel indicating btu's and other electrical parameters. Look for it. Or Google the unit

We have an in wall air conditioner. I am not sure of the model #, but recently it has started spraying a fine mist back into the room. I removed the front of the unit this morning and found that the foam...

You could have a pin hole in your refrigeration line. The mist is probably the refrigerant coming out. Check the coil very carefully to see signs af any breaks. You may also have a bad drainage and the water is accumilating inside the unit. The fan blades can throw the water against the filter. Look inside for standing water. Good luck!

I have a damaged plug on my Fedders A3X05F2A air conditioner. I cut it off but can't tell which is the white and black wire to attach to replacement plug.

Have you tried to carefully strip the outer insulation off the wire, to expose the 2 or 3 inner wires? If not, doing that will give you the color codes.

Our air conditioner is not cooling as well as it has in the past. We can't find the manual to troubleshoot. What can we do besides clean the filter?

clean the fan blades, and clean the evaporator coils and fins. The entire unit needs periodic cleaning, not just the filter.

How large a room does a 10,000 btu air conditioner cool

What size unit do I need for my room? Use the following chart to find the appropriate size air conditioner to use:

AREA TO BE COOLED / CAPACITY (BTU/HR)

100 to 150 square feet = 5,000

150 to 250 square feet = 6,000

250 to 300 square feet = 7,000

300 to 350 square feet = 8,000

350 to 400 square feet = 9,000

400 to 450 square feet = 10,000

450 to 550 square feet = 12,000

550 to 700 square feet = 14,000

700 to 1000 square feet = 18,000

If the room is heavily shaded, reduce needed capacity by 10%

If the room receives a lot of direct sun, increase needed capacity by 10%

Add 600 Btu/Hr for each person in the room if there are more than two people

If the unit is for a kitchen, increase the capacity by 4,000-6,000 Btu/Hr.

if this helps please vote me a fix ya
