Question about LaCie Big Disk Extreme with Triple Interface - hard drive - 1 TB
Many of the problems with Lacie drives (and I will never buy another) are due to the power supply (PSU) failing. Swap power supplies if you have a spare correct PSU. Test for power using a multimeter (pins and expected outputs are marked on the side of my PSU). Or try contacting probably the worst customer service on the planet

This is a faulty drive. find a recover technician and try to recover data from it.

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll to sound video and game controllers you might see a yellow question exclamation mark? ! or a red X Right click to
click start control panel sounds and audio volume advanced speakers make sure you have selected the
(appropriate speakers) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there
click start control panel sounds and audio devices select advanced there might be a tick in the mute box untick it
